Lockly Secure Link PGH200 Installation & User Manual

Part A: Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub & Part B: Door Sensor

The Lockly Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub system consists of two main components: the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub (Part A) and the optional Wireless Door Sensor (Part B). The Wi-Fi Hub is essential for enabling voice assistant features and providing live monitoring and control of your Lockly device. The Wireless Door Sensor is highly recommended to verify your door's status (securely closed and not ajar).

Part A Components:

  • Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub
  • USB 5V 1A AC Adaptor

Part B Components:

  • LED Indicator
  • Door Sensor
  • Door Frame Sensor
  • Wireless Door Sensor

Note: The USB Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub can be plugged into any UL Certified 5V 1A USB outlet. While the included power adapter is designed for standard power plugs, using your own certified adapter is possible.

1. Setting up the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub

Install the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub after successfully installing and setting up your Lockly Smart Lock. Refer to your specific Lockly Smart Lock Installation Guide and User Manual for lock-specific instructions.

The Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub (Part A) can be plugged into any standard 5V 1A USB port or the included UL-certified USB AC adapter (recommended).

For optimal performance and connectivity, choose an appropriate location for the Wi-Fi Hub. It is recommended that the hub be no further than 30 feet (9 meters) from the lock.

Diagram Description: A Lockly Smart Lock and a Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub are shown with a line indicating a maximum distance of 30 feet (9 meters) between them.

To connect to the internet, your Wi-Fi network must broadcast a 2.4 GHz radio signal. Most modern Wi-Fi devices support 2.4 GHz, and some support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Consult your network administrator or internet provider if you are unsure about your network type.

Connecting the Wi-Fi Hub

Plug the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub into the 5V 1A USB AC adapter and then into your wall socket.

Diagram Description: An image shows a USA-style wall outlet with the Wi-Fi Hub plugged in. Another diagram shows the Wi-Fi Hub with its LED indicator located next to the Setup Button, flashing RED slowly, indicating it is ready to connect.

Once the Wi-Fi Hub's LED indicator is flashing RED, open the Lockly app to begin connecting it to your lock.

If you haven't downloaded the Lockly app, you can scan the QR code or visit https://Lockly.com/app. Ensure you have already created an account and set up your Lockly device in the app.

2. Using the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub

During the setup process, position yourself between the lock and the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub, ideally within 30 feet (9 meters). Ensure your iOS or Android™ device has both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows a Lockly Smart Lock, a person holding a smartphone (labeled 'You' and 'Using an iOS or Android™ Device with Bluetooth & Wi-Fi enabled'), and the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub, all within the specified 30-foot range.

Tip: For optimal performance, the Secure Link requires a strong wireless signal. Ensure it is installed in a location with a strong 2.4 GHz wireless signal. If you experience difficulties, contact Lockly customer care at (669) 500-8835 or visit Lockly.com/help for assistance.

3. Configuring Your Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub

Ensure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network. Open the Lockly App, select the main menu (upper left corner), and then choose "Set up a New Device".

App Screenshot Description: The Lockly app interface is shown, guiding the user through selecting the "Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub" from a list of devices.

If you have not previously connected the Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub to your smart lock, its LED indicator will flash RED slowly. Press and hold the Setup Button on the top of the Wi-Fi Hub for 3 seconds until the GREEN LED indicator starts to flash rapidly.

Diagram Description: An image shows a finger pressing the Setup Button on the Wi-Fi Hub for 3 seconds.

If a Bluetooth icon and a name starting with PGH200 do not appear, click the Refresh button in the app. Ensure your Wi-Fi Hub has a flashing GREEN LED indicator and is within 30 feet of your lock. Select the Wi-Fi Hub to continue.

App Screenshot Description: The app displays "Connect to Secure LINK" with the device name and a signal strength indicator, recommending a minimum of 2-3 bars.

If you are already connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, the network name should be displayed. Enter your Wi-Fi password next to the lock icon and click "Next Step".

App Screenshot Description: The app prompts for Wi-Fi password entry. Instructions indicate to select the option if the Wi-Fi Hub LED is ON and SOLID GREEN, or flashing green. A note advises checking the Wi-Fi network if the LED is flashing RED.

Congratulations! Your Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub is now set up.

Troubleshooting Quick Information:

  • No Indicator Light: Your Wi-Fi Hub has no power. Check the power supply.
  • Slow RED Light Flashing: Your Wi-Fi Hub has power but is not connected to any wireless network.
  • Rapid GREEN Light Flashing: Your Wi-Fi Hub is in setup mode. Setup mode can be entered by pressing the setup button for 2 seconds and lasts approximately 2 minutes.
  • Solid GREEN Light: Your Wi-Fi Hub is on and connected to an active 2.4 GHz wireless network.

4. Adding the Door Sensor

Adding the Door Sensor (Part B) is optional but recommended. It allows you to verify your door's status (closed/ajar) and receive push notifications. The Door Sensor is required if you intend to use Amazon Alexa or Hey Google.

The Door Sensor consists of two parts: Part 1 - Door Frame Sensor and Part 2 - Door Sensor. These are mounted differently depending on your door orientation.

Install the Door Sensor indoors on a clean, dry surface. Gently wipe the door and door frame where you plan to install the sensor and ensure they are dry before application.

Diagram Description: The two parts of the Door Sensor are labeled: Part 1 - Door Frame Sensor and Part 2 - Door Sensor.

Installation Guidelines:

Keep the Door Sensor away from direct sunlight, high heat locations, and large metal objects that may interfere with wireless signals.

Graphic Description: A "KEEP AWAY" warning is shown with icons for sun and flame.

The optimal location for the Door Sensor is on the upper corners of your door, out of reach of children and pets.

Diagram Description: Two diagrams illustrate sensor placement based on door hinge orientation. One shows hinges on the right side (when facing the door from inside), with the Door Frame Sensor on the frame and the Door Sensor on the door. The other shows hinges on the left side, with placement reversed.

When installing, ensure the arrows on the Door Sensor are aligned with the arrow on the Door Frame Sensor.

Diagram Description: Two diagrams show the correct alignment of the Door Sensor and Door Frame Sensor with arrows pointing towards each other. The text indicates the gap between them must be less than 3/4" for the sensor to work.

To activate the sensor, pull the plastic tab at the back of the Door Frame Sensor. Peel off the protective paper from the double-sided tape and apply securely to your door and door frame. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to test your Door Sensor.

Voice Assistant Integration

Congratulations! The Door Sensor is now set up. The Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub works with other Smart Home devices, allowing you to check status or remotely lock/unlock your door using Amazon Alexa or Hey Google.

To integrate, download the Amazon Alexa or Hey Google app, and enable the Lockly Action on Google or the Amazon Alexa Skill. You can then use voice commands such as:

For Google Assistant:

  • "Hey Google, unlock the Back Door"
  • "Hey Google, is the Back Door locked?"
  • "Hey Google, lock the Back Door"
  • "Hey Google, is the Back Door unlocked?"

Note: Pre-setup in the Google Home app is required, naming the lock appropriately (e.g., "Back Door").

For Amazon Alexa:

  • "Alexa, unlock my Front Door."
  • "Alexa, is my Front Door locked?"
  • "Alexa, lock my Front Door."
  • "Alexa, is my Front Door unlocked?"

Note: Unlock requests may require additional voice security codes.
