Manual / Automatic Tuning

  • Manual Tuning: Press and hold the or button until "MANUAL" appears on the display. Then, press or continuously to tune downward or upward. Press and hold or for faster tuning. Note: The unit will return to automatic tuning if no button is pressed for 3 seconds.
  • Automatic Tuning: Press the or button once. The radio will automatically search for stations at higher or lower frequencies. Press or again to stop the search.

Scanning and Memorizing Stations

  • By BND/AMS Button: In tuner mode, press and hold the BND/AMS button for 3 seconds to start scanning for stations and store them automatically in memory. All preset stations will scroll for a few seconds.
  • By Number Buttons (1-6): Tune to a station using the or buttons. Press and hold a number button (1-6) for 2 seconds until the corresponding number appears on the LCD, indicating the station is stored. Press the number buttons (1-6) in radio mode to listen to stored stations. To overwrite a stored station, press and hold another number button for over 2 seconds. The unit can store up to 6 stations per band.

RDS (Radio Data System)

The unit features an integrated RDS decoder compatible with RDS data transmissions. This system allows automatic switching to the station with the best reception when moving over long distances (AF switching). It also receives traffic announcements (TA) or program type (PTY) information from RDS stations, regardless of the current mode.

Press and hold the VOL/SEL knob to enter the settings menu. Briefly press VOL/SEL to select an item, then rotate the knob to choose the desired setting: AF (ON/OFF) → TA (ON/OFF) → TA VOL → REG (ON/OFF) → EON (ON/OFF) → SEL PTY.

  • Alternative Frequency (AF): When AF mode is selected, the radio scans for alternative frequencies. If a new AF signal is stronger than the current station, it briefly switches to that frequency. (Flashing AF indicates a search for a stronger RDS station). Segment OFF means AF switching is off; Segment ON means it's active and RDS info is received; Flashing AF means AF is active but RDS info is not yet received.
  • Traffic Alarm (TA): In TA standby mode, traffic announcements are received with priority. If TA mode is turned off, traffic announcements are cancelled.
  • TA SEEK: If a tuned station lacks TP information for 5 seconds, the radio seeks the next station with TP.
  • TA ALARM: Disables automatic retuning; outputs only an alarm beep.
  • TA VOL: Adjusts the TA volume level (default 25).
  • Region ON/OFF (REG): Selects local (REG ON) or national (REG OFF) broadcast reception.
  • Program Type Selection (PTY): Allows searching for specific program types (e.g., NEWS, SPORTS, MUSIC).

USB/Micro SD Playback

Connecting USB/Micro SD Devices

  • Skip/Fast Search: Use or for next/previous track. Hold or for fast search within a track. Use -10/+10 to skip 10 tracks or folders (MP3 mode).
  • Intro Scan: Press 2/INT to play the first 10 seconds of each track (INT ON/OFF).

  • Random Playback: Press 4/RDM to play all files in random order (RDM ON/OFF).
  • Track Search (USB/Micro SD): Press and hold BND/AMS, then use the VOL/SEL knob to select the track number and press VOL/SEL to play.

Notes: Maximum 9999 MP3 files and 99 directories per USB/SD device. Reading time may vary. Do not insert foreign objects into ports. USB port should not be connected directly to a computer. Compatibility with all USB/SD devices and formats is not guaranteed.
