Installation
During installation, it is recommended to wake up the device.
- FIBARO Flood Sensor should be installed in all spaces where there is a risk of flood:
- In the bathroom,
- In the kitchen,
- At the basement.
- Additional security informs about accidental location change (information is sent to Home Center every time its location changes).
- A built-in temperature sensor lets you monitor e.g. floor's temperature.

Adding a Probe
If the sensor cannot fit the space which is in danger of flooding, you can install a wired probe* that will get to difficult-to-access spaces.
Illustration shows the inside of the Flood Sensor with terminals labeled SENS1, TAMP, NC, GND. An arrow points to the "SENS1" terminal, indicating where to install the probe. A separate image shows a probe connected and placed near a washing machine.
*The probe is not included in the Flood Sensor set.
