Remote Access

By default, the Home Center Lite is accessible only within your local network. To enable remote access from outside your network, configure a home.fibaro.com account as described further in this manual.

Finding Your Home Center Lite

The Home Center Lite defaults to DHCP client mode. To find its IP address on your local network, download the Fibaro Finder application, available for your operating system at www.fibaro.com/finder-win or www.fibaro.com/finder-os. Install and run Fibaro Finder, then click REFRESH to locate your Home Center Lite's IP address.

Upon successful connection, you will access the HC Lite control panel. Select your language version and enter the user name and password. Defaults are: Login: admin, Password: admin.

System Configuration

Creating Rooms and Sections

When setting up your intelligent home, begin by creating rooms within the HCL menu to mirror your home's layout. A 'Section' is a group of rooms, potentially representing a whole floor or a few rooms. To create a room, name it and then select the section to which it belongs.

Each room can be customized with a unique icon. These icons can be changed in the advanced room settings.

Adding Devices

After creating rooms, you can start adding devices. Navigate to the 'Devices' section in the main menu and click the 'ADD' button to initiate device learning mode. The system provides a countdown (default 30 seconds) for adding a new Z-Wave device (inclusion). Ensure the device is within direct range of the Home Center Lite during this process.

Refer to each device's manual for specific inclusion instructions into the Z-Wave network.

NOTE: Danger of electrocution! If you are unsure how to connect a device to wiring, please contact a qualified installer.
