Startup

Step 1: Remove the cover.

Open the main sensor housing.

Step 2: Remove the protective tab.

Pull out the battery's protective tab to activate it.

Step 3: Check battery placement.

Ensure the battery is correctly inserted.

Step 4: Close the cover.

Securely close the sensor housing.

Temperature Measurement

To enhance the device's functionality, an optional temperature sensor can be purchased. This sensor should be mounted before adding the main device.

Precise reading: 25.50° C

* The temperature sensor is not included with the Door/Window Sensor.

Device Ready for Addition

The device should be added while in close proximity to your Home Center.

Activate Adding Mode

Step 5: Launch the Fibaro App and go to Settings.

Open the Fibaro application on your smartphone and navigate to the 'Settings' menu.

Step 6: Select 'Add device'.

Within the settings, choose the option to add a new device.

Step 7: Click 'Next'.

Proceed to the next step in the device addition wizard.

Adding Mode Activated

Your Home Center is now in learning mode. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the device.

Step 8: Perform 3 quick clicks to add the device.

Initiate the device addition process by quickly clicking the button on the sensor three times.

Device Configuration

The device is currently being configured. Please wait for the process to complete.

Wake Up Device

⚠️ Wake-up may not be necessary; the following step might be skipped automatically.

Step 9: Perform 3 quick clicks to wake up the device.

If required, perform three quick clicks on the sensor to wake it up and finalize configuration.

Device Added

Step 10: Name the device and assign it to a room.

Once added successfully, name your Door/Window sensor and assign it to a specific room within your smart home setup.

Mounting Preparation

Step 11: Apply mounting tape.

Attach the included mounting tape to both the sensor and its corresponding magnet.

Mounting Method

It is recommended to wake up the device again during mounting. Before installation, ensure the device is within the range of your Home Center.

Position the sensor and magnet on the door/window frame such that the gap between them does not exceed 5 mm when closed.
