Mounting Options

Knuckle Mount

To ensure a weatherproof seal, apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the edge of the junction box (provided by others). This is especially important with an uneven surface.

  1. Secure the fixture to a 1/2" NPS hole in the junction box or landscape post. Seal the arm thread using Teflon® tape or silicone sealant. (Refer to Figure 1 for visual guide).
  2. The X34 swivel arm allows 180° of vertical aiming adjustment depending on the mounting position. (Refer to Figure 2 for visual guide).

Figure 1 Description: Shows the fixture base (Knuckle Mount) attaching to a junction box via a 1/2" NPS hole.

Figure 2 Description: Illustrates the fixture's swivel arm, indicating 180° of vertical adjustment.

Slipfitter Mounting

The slipfitter mounting fits a 2 3/8" O.D. Tenon. Place the slipfitter over the Tenon and secure the fixture with two (2) Set Screws on the side of the Slipfitter. (Refer to Figure 1 for visual guide).

  1. Loosen the Locking Bolt and swivel the fixture to the desired angle. (Refer to Figure 2 for visual guide).
  2. Tighten the Locking Bolt.

Figure 1 Description: Shows the slipfitter mounting hardware, including Set Screws and a Tenon.

Figure 2 Description: Illustrates loosening the Locking Bolt to adjust the fixture's angle.

Trunnion Mounting

CAUTION: Use a UL certified liquid-tight cord grip suitable for use with three-conductor-type STW flexible cord for connection to a wet location outlet box (provided by others).

To adjust the angle of the fixture using the Trunnion:

  1. Loosen the Pivot Bolts & Angle Locking Screw. (Refer to Figure 3 for visual guide).
  2. Adjust fixture to the desired angle.
  3. Tighten Pivot Bolts & Angle Locking Screw.

Figure 3 Description: Shows the Trunnion mounting hardware, including Pivot Bolts and an Angle Locking Screw.
