Field Adjustment: Power (W) and Color Temperature (CCT)

The fixture's power and color temperature can be adjusted after installation.

Factory Settings:

Adjustment Procedure:

  1. Locate the selector switches on the side of the housing (Figure 12 for RBAY15M/RBAY15L, Figure 13 for RBAY15S).
  2. Slide the respective switch to select the desired Color Temperature (CCT) and/or Power (W) value.

Lens Replacement

The lens can be rotated in the field for different light distributions.

  1. Remove the side cap and carefully slide the lens off the housing.
  2. Rotate the lens 180 degrees. Do not flip it.
  3. Slide the rotated lens back onto the luminaire.
  4. Reinstall the side cap and tighten the screws securely.

MVS/PIR Sensor Installation

For units ordered with an MVS or PIR Sensor, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Sensor Base Plug located on the housing.
  2. Insert the MVS or PIR Sensor into the Sensor Base Plug and turn to secure it.
  3. Refer to the specific MVS/PIR Sensor instructions for pre-set and programmable settings.
  4. An optional remote control (Model# MSR1) can be used for user programming.

0-10V Dimmable Wiring

The universal voltage driver operates at 120V through 277V, 50 or 60 Hz. For 0-10V dimming, follow the wiring directions below.

Note: Do not connect DIM V+ (purple) or DIM V- (pink) to line voltage or supply ground.

Diagram Description (Figure 21): A wiring diagram illustrating the connections for 0-10V dimming, showing connections for LINE (Black), COMMON (White), GROUND (Green), DIM V+ (Purple), DIM V- (Pink), and Vaux (Black/White).

Battery Backup Models: Wiring

CAUTION: Voltage can be present in the BATTERY. To prevent high voltage on output leads, the Inverter connector must remain open until installation is complete and AC power is supplied to the emergency driver. Use only 120-277V, 50/60 Hz supply voltage.

An UNSWITCHED AC source of power is required. The emergency driver must be fed from the same branch circuit as the LED driver.

  1. Connect the UNSWITCHED HOT lead to the HOT AC supply line.
  2. If using an UNSWITCHED circuit, connect UNSWITCHED and SWITCHED lines together.
  3. If using a SWITCHED circuit, connect the SWITCHED HOT lead to the external switched line.
  4. Connect the pink DIM (-) lead to the dimming control signal negative.
  5. For 0-10V dimming, connect the purple DIM (+) lead and the pink DIM (-) lead to the 0-10V dimming connection. Do not connect GROUND to the output leads.
  6. Cap and insulate all unused leads.

The CHARGING INDICATOR LIGHT should illuminate to show the battery is charging.

Diagram Description (Figure 22): A wiring diagram for battery backup models, showing connections for the light fixture, AC supply (Unswitched Line, Switched Line, Neutral, Ground), and dimming leads (DIM+, DIM-).

Battery Backup Models: Operation

  1. When AC power is applied, the charging indicator light illuminates, indicating the battery is charging.
  2. During a power failure, the system automatically switches to emergency power from the internal battery, operating at reduced illumination.
  3. When AC power is restored, the emergency driver automatically returns to charging mode.

Battery Backup Models: Maintenance

While routine maintenance is not required, periodic checks are recommended:

  1. Visually inspect the charging indicator light monthly; it should be illuminated.
  2. Perform a short duration test monthly by pressing the Test Button. The fixture should operate for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Conduct a 90-minute discharge test annually. The fixture should operate at reduced illumination for a minimum of 90 minutes.

Diagram Description (Figure 23): Shows the location of the Test Button on RBAY15S and RBAY15M/RBAY15L models for battery backup testing.

Troubleshooting (Battery Backup Models)
