Before First Use: Bluetooth Connection

Follow these steps to connect your JLab Studio ANC headphones to your device:

1. Activate Bluetooth in your device's settings.
2. When the Studio ANC headphones are turned off, press and hold the [power button] for approximately 8 seconds.
3. The fast blinking red and blue LED ?? indicates that the headphones are searching for a Bluetooth device.
4. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab Studio ANC" to establish a connection.

Once connected, you will hear 2 beeps ?, and the blue LED ? will blink slowly.

Connecting New / Additional Devices

To connect to a new device:

• DEACTIVATE Bluetooth on your previously paired device.
• ACTIVATE Bluetooth on the new device.
• Repeat the "Before First Use" steps for the new device.

Important Notes:

• Bluetooth is sensitive to objects between the headphones and the device. Maintain a distance of up to 10 meters (33 feet) without major obstructions like walls.
• The headphones automatically connect to saved devices when turned on. Only one device can be connected at a time. To connect a new device, first disconnect the current one via Bluetooth settings.
• If the Bluetooth connection drops, manually reconnect your device.

Button Functions

• Volume Up: 1x click
• Next Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds
• Volume Down: 1x click
• Previous Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds
• Power On/Off: Press and hold for over 2 seconds
• Play/Pause / Answer/Hang Up Call: 1x click
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second
• Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): 2x click
• Bluetooth Connection: Refer to "Before First Use".

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

• With Bluetooth Connected: Press the [ANC button] 1x to turn ANC ON/OFF. ON: 2 beeps ?. OFF: 1 beep ?.
• With AUX Connected: Press and hold the [ANC button] for over 2 seconds to turn ANC ON/OFF. ON: 2 beeps ?. OFF: 1 beep ?.

AUX Input

Connect the included AUX cable to the headphones and your audio source for wired playback or to use with in-flight entertainment systems.

Notes for AUX Input:

• The ANC function is available when connected via AUX INPUT. To ACTIVATE or DEACTIVATE ANC, press and hold the [ANC button] for over 2 seconds.
• Connecting via AUX INPUT deactivates your Bluetooth connection. Remove the AUX plug to return to Bluetooth.
• When AUX INPUT is connected, the headphone button functions for your Bluetooth device are not available.
• Volume is controlled by your AUX device's settings.

Charging

For optimal performance, charge the headphones overnight before first use. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

1. Connect the included Micro-USB cable to the headphones.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer or a powered USB adapter (adapter not included).
3. A red LED ? indicates charging. A blue LED ? indicates a full charge.

Note: The Studio ANC headphones can be used while charging. After charging, turn them on and connect to your device.

Cautions

• ❗ Avoid moisture or liquids in the earcups.
• ❗ Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• ❗ Avoid dropping, crushing, straining the cable with a quick pull or extreme force, or bending the cable at a sharp angle.
• ❗ Wax may accumulate in the earcups, affecting sound quality. Carefully remove wax with a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound quality.
• ❗ If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stopping use.
• ❗ If you regularly experience discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• We recommend treating your headphones with care, like a fine pair of sunglasses, and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
