- In the setting interface, you can set the IC model, color correction, and number of points. The total number of points cannot exceed 300 in each segment, and the total LED chips quantity cannot exceed 2048.
- The setting of IC number is applied to the smearing function.
Screenshots show the app's settings interface, including options for device information, IC settings, color calibration, and number of lights setting. The "Num of lights setting" screen allows input for the number of IC lights per segment and the number of segments, with examples of lighting effects like "Christmas Lights" and "String lights".
VI. Detailed introduction of APP functions
1) Multi color function
The color of the light can be adjusted for the whole strip or each segment. The app provides different columns for color selection or editing, and brightness can also be adjusted. In the segmentation interface, users can freely smear or erase colors for each segment and set gradient effects.
Screenshots show the multi-color selection interface with options like "Color Card", "Slider", and "Recent", and a visual representation of a segmented LED strip being colored.
2) Scene settings
There are four built-in scenes: "Life", "Scenery", "Festivals", "Mood". Users can click "DIY" or "Collection" to create their favorite light effect. The interface displays these scenes and other categories like "Game", "Party", "Trend", and "Sports".
3) Playlist mode
This mode allows setting the time for multiple light dynamic modes and entering a cycle mode. Users can select different scene modes, set the duration for each scene, and play them in sequence by combining different lighting effects.
Screenshots illustrate the playlist mode, showing options to choose execution time, select scenes, add lighting effects, and set durations for each step.
4) Smear function
Click the [add-icon] button to DIY lighting colors and dynamic effects, then save them. Before DIY, ensure the number of ICs in "Settings" matches the device to avoid incorrect lighting effects. Before customizing, confirm the IC number in the app setting is the same as the light device.
Screenshots show the "Smear function" interface where users can select colors, dynamic effects (Static, Flowing, Stars wink, Twinkling stars), direction, and speed, and save the configuration.
5) Music Mode
This mode synchronizes lighting with music rhythm. Click "Add Music" to import a music file or use the built-in music library. The lights' color will change with the sound rhythm when your phone microphone catches the sound. Microphone sensitivity can be adjusted via a slider. Audio signals can be input via the built-in APP microphone or an external microphone.
Screenshots show the "Music Mode" interface with options to add music from the phone or library, and the "MIC" function interface allowing selection between "Phone Mic" and "Device" input.
6) Light timer
Smart lights can automatically turn on and off at specified times using the timer function. Users can choose their favorite effect and color and save the settings.
Screenshots illustrate the timer setup, showing options to set the time, repeat days (Sun-Sat), perform actions like "Lights On" or "Lights Off", select effects, and save.
7) Group Control
This mode allows creating different groups to control multiple controllers simultaneously.
Screenshots show the "Group Control" interface where users can select devices and rooms to create groups.
8) Link
Setting up a group for strip lights enables linkage lighting effects. Users can hold and drag devices on the list to change the order and direction, allowing for synchronized linkage or sequential changes among grouped light strips.
Screenshots show a "Devices List" with numbered indicators, suggesting synchronized or sequential control of grouped lights.
9) Apple iOS system widget
This feature, also supporting Android phones, allows for widget control.
- Create a scene for your light and add a command for it when using the widget.
- Navigate to the "Profile" page, tap "Widget", and add the scene to the Widget. Then, add the "Surplife" app to the Widget.
