Safety Instructions
Electric bikes are not allowed on public transport roads; observe local laws. Scooters are for leisure and require practice. ENGWE is not liable for injuries due to inexperience or failure to follow instructions. Before lending, ensure the recipient has read the manual, watched videos, and received guidance. New riders must wear helmets and protective equipment. Following warnings reduces, but does not eliminate, risks of injury or death from loss of control, collisions, or falls. Use only on hard, relatively enclosed surfaces, avoiding obstacles. Be alert in unfamiliar environments. Do not exceed speed limits or ride on motorways. For the first ride, avoid areas with children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles, or bicycles. Respect pedestrians; alert them when approaching from behind and slow down when overtaking. Obey local traffic laws. In regions without specific laws, adhere strictly to these safety requirements. ENGWE is not liable for property damage, personal injury, or legal disputes arising from violations. Before riding, check for loose fasteners or damaged parts. Stop immediately if unusual noises occur and consult the manufacturer. Observe road surfaces, avoid obstacles, and ride on level ground. This product is suitable for ages 14-60 and weighs up to 120kg. Do not charge if the charging port, charger, or power outlet is wet. Use only the original ENGWE charger. Do not modify the scooter, as it can affect operation and void the warranty. Children should not use scooters or play with parts. Park on a flat, firm surface, facing downhill on slopes to prevent tipping. Check stability after lowering the kickstand. Avoid parking in busy areas; park against a wall if possible. Regular maintenance is recommended. Read the manual before charging. Do not touch brake parts to avoid injury.
Specific Safety Precautions:
- People under the influence of alcohol or drugs, those unable to perform strenuous exercise due to illness, those unable to maintain balance, individuals exceeding the weight limit (120kg), and pregnant women are not suitable.
- Minors require adult supervision.
- Observe and comply with local laws and regulations. Do not ride where prohibited.
- Ensure you can see and be seen by others.
- Do not ride in snow, rain, slippery, muddy, or icy weather. Avoid obstacles like sand, rocks, or barricades.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the main unit. For hard dirt, use a toothbrush and toothpaste, then clean with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Warning
Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive/volatile solvents, as they can damage the scooter's exterior and interior. Do not spray water with a pressure washer or hose. Ensure the scooter is powered off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the charging port cover is closed before cleaning to prevent damage to electronic components or the battery.
3. Storage
Store the scooter in a bright, dry place when not in use. Do not park outdoors. Sunlight and extreme temperatures (too hot or too cold) can accelerate deterioration of plastic parts and shorten battery life.
4. Battery Removal and Maintenance
Do not use third-party batteries without permission due to safety hazards. Do not store or charge the battery outside specified temperature limits. Avoid touching battery contacts or piercing the battery case. Prevent metal objects from contacting battery contacts to avoid short circuits, which can cause damage or injury. Do not expose the battery to fire, as it may lead to failure, overheating, or fire. Do not charge or use a damaged battery or one with water stains. Do not attempt to disassemble the battery. Users must not repair internal parts without permission. Do not ride at temperatures exceeding specified limits, as motor power may be limited, leading to slips or falls. Improper battery disposal can pollute the environment; observe local regulations.
