BeaCon Actuator Installation Guide
This guide provides instructions for installing and operating the BeaCon Actuator with BeaCon Dynamic Balancing Valve (AB-QM) and BeaCon Control Valve (RA-G).
Product Overview
The BeaCon Actuator is designed for use with Danfoss AB-QM dynamic balancing valves (DN15-32) and RA-G control valves (DN20-32).
Installation
There are two primary methods for installing the actuator:
- Method A: Install with Dynamic Balancing Valve (AB-QM) via M30x1.5 thread.
- Method B: Install with Dynamic Balancing Valve (AB-QM) via RA connector.
The actuator features an Address ID laser on its side, which can be removed for record-keeping.
Manual Operation
To enter manual operation mode:
- Press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds until the Power light flashes.
- Press and hold the Up (or Down) button for 4 seconds to move the actuator spindle up (or down). The Up (or Down) light will flash during movement.
- A short press of the Reset button initiates the calibration process.
