Connect ShinePhone APP
Use the ShinePhone application to remotely monitor and control your NEXA 2000 All-in-one Balcony Solar Storage system.
Create A Power Plant
- Scan the QR code or search for 'ShinePhone' on the App Store or Google Play to download the APP.
- Click "Register" to create an account.
- Create a power plant by setting the time, location, PV capacity, and grid electricity price information.
Configure Network
- Navigate to the "Plant" page from the bottom menu.
- Click the "+" button in the upper right corner, select "Add device", scroll down, and choose "Balcony Solar Storage".
- Click "NEXA 2000" and follow the on-app instructions to complete the network configuration and add the device to the power plant.
Note on Re-pairing: If the product is already bound to a mobile device, press the device's IoT button for 3 seconds to unpair it before re-pairing with a new mobile device.
Set Operation Mode
The system offers three working modes:
- Load First Mode: Prioritizes using photovoltaic power for the load. Excess energy is stored in the battery. If PV generation is insufficient, the battery discharges to supplement the load.
- Battery First Mode: Prioritizes charging the battery with PV power until it reaches its upper SOC limit. Once charged, it outputs according to PV power.
- Smart Self-consumption Mode: Available when connected to a smart meter. The smart meter monitors home power consumption, and the system intelligently adjusts its output.
Note: The default mode is Load First, with a default system output power of 200W, adjustable via the APP.
Users can click "Add time" to set specific time periods and select a work mode for each period.
Other Important Settings
- Associated Inverter: Link the inverter for system management.
- 7. On-grid Status: Enable for on-grid status, disable for off-grid status.
- 8. Power+ Function: Adjust the maximum grid-connected output power (use with caution).
- 9. Export Limit Function: Requires a wireless meter. Limits the feed power to the grid (0% means no feed, 10% means maximum 10% feed).
Cold start
When the battery temperature is between -30°C and -20°C, connecting solar panels with photovoltaic input can automatically heat the battery to the working temperature, allowing the NEXA 2000 to function normally in low-temperature environments.
Battery temperature | Remaining heating time/min |
---|---|
-30°C | 83 |
-25°C | 75 |
-20°C (Minimum allowable discharge temperature) | 65 |
-15°C | 54 |
-10°C | 42 |
-5°C | 29 |
0°C (Minimum allowable charging temperature) | 15 |
5°C | 0 |
Note:
- Estimated remaining heating time is based on maximum heating power (≥140W PV input) and is for reference only. Heating stops when battery temperature reaches 5°C.
- Remaining heating time is the time required to heat from the current temperature to 5°C.
- If the NEXA 2000 is below 0°C and PV input is ≤140W, PV energy is prioritized for battery heating.
