Assembly
Kit AS-0
Step 1: Connect the floor tool to the extension tube. An arrow indicates the connection point.
Step 2: Connect extension tubes together. Arrows show the connection method.
Step 3: Connect the hose to the extension tube. An arrow indicates the connection.
Step 4: Illustrates the bend in the tubes with a measurement of 50mm.
Step 5: Connect the hose to the machine's inlet port. An arrow indicates the connection.
Step 6: Shows the assembled Henry and Hetty vacuum cleaners.
Using your machine
The machine features a green 'Start' button and a red 'Power on light'.
Various accessories are provided, including:
- Floor tool
- Crevice tool
- Brush tool
- Upholstery tool
Suction power can be adjusted between 'Low' and 'High' settings, indicated by arrows.
The floor tool has two adjustable positions, likely for different floor surfaces, indicated by checkmarks and crosses.
Cleaning the machine
Follow these steps for cleaning the machine:
- Remove the top hood of the machine.
- Remove the filter.
- Remove the dust bag.
- Dispose of the dust bag [Trash Icon].
- Insert a new dust bag.
- Refit the filter.
- Refit the hood.
- The machine is now clean and ready for use.
Fitting and Removing the Face
Fitting the face
Step 1: Align the faceplate with the machine body.
Step 2: Push the faceplate into place until an audible click is heard.
Removing the face
Step 1: Gently pull the faceplate away from the machine body. Arrows indicate the release points.
Step 2: Continue pulling until the faceplate detaches, indicated by an audible click.
Wand Docking and Tool Tidy

Step 1: Insert the wand into the docking bracket on the machine.
Step 2: The wand is securely docked.
Tool tidy
The rear of the machine provides storage for accessories:

NOTE: A risk assessment should be conducted to determine which PPE should be worn.
WEEE Legislation (Waste, Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Vacuum cleaner, accessories, and packaging should be sorted for environmentally friendly recycling. For EU Countries: Do not dispose of vacuum cleaner into household waste. According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU, vacuum cleaners that are no longer suitable for use must be separately collected and sent for recovery in an environmentally friendly manner.
Maintenance
Daily: Keep the machine clean, including hoses and tubes. Ensure the bag and filter are fitted. Regularly examine the power cord. Check dust bag frequently. Check filters are clean.
Weekly: Check for any worn or damaged parts and replace immediately.

Information for DRY use Vacuum cleaners
WARNING:
Read the instruction manual before using the machine. Operators must be adequately instructed. Exercise care and attention at all times. Routine and preventative maintenance is crucial for safe operation. Failure to maintain the equipment correctly could render it unsafe. Maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified person. This machine is for DRY USE only and must not be stored outside or used in wet conditions. Disconnect from the mains during cleaning or maintenance. Not for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. This appliance is intended for cleaning and maintenance by an adult. Children should be supervised and not play with the machine. This machine is not a toy. Not suitable for picking up hazardous or explosive dust. Contact your local distributor for machines capable of such tasks.
CAUTION:
Ensure the filtration system is suitable for the material being collected. This vacuum cleaner is intended for indoor use for collecting dry materials only. Store indoors only.
NOTES:
- Primary use is commercial (hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices).
- Complies with IEC/EN 60335-2-69 Stability and Mechanical Hazards.
- Features a thermal protection device. If the machine stops, remove the plug before investigating.
- If a blockage occurs, switch off, unplug, and inspect floor tool, tubes, and hose. If clear, replace dust bag and clean filter.
- Inspect the vacuum cleaner for damage after use.
- Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry place.
DO:
- Keep your machine clean, including hoses and tubes.
- Change dust bag frequently.
- Keep filters clean.
- Keep diffuser filter clean (if fitted).
- Use filter bags for enhanced performance and machine cleanliness. Use Numatic Original filter bags for fine dust conditions.
- Keep hoses and tubes clear.
- Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Only use the machine's socket outlet for specified purposes.
- Only use provided brushes; other brushes may impair safety.
- Regularly examine the power cord. If damaged, have it replaced by a qualified person.
- Replace the power cord only with a correct Numatic approved part.
DO NOT:
- Pull on the cable to unplug the machine.
- Use to suck up hot ashes or lighted cigarette ends.
- Use steam cleaners or pressure washers, or use in the rain.
- Immerse in water for cleaning.
- Attempt maintenance or cleaning unless the power supply plug is removed from the outlet.
- Use in wet environments or to collect wet materials.
- Place foreign objects (e.g., air fresheners, capsules, scented beads) into the top filter, as this can be dangerous and risk machine damage or void the warranty.

Warranty
Numatic International Limited warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free of defects in both material or workmanship for the periods shown:
- Homecare and Cleancare Vacuum cleaners: 2 Years
- Rotary Floor Machines: 2 Years
- Twintec Auto Scrubber Dryer: 1 Year
- Vario Ride-On Scrubber Dryer: 1 Year/1500 hours
- Mopping, Compacts, Combi and Servocare Products: 1 Year
- Individual Accessories and Spare Parts: 6 Months
Note: This warranty expressly excludes consumable parts such as carbon brushes, floor brushes, mops, batteries etc., which are considered replaceable from time to time during the normal working life of the machine.
Using non-Numatic dustbags can be detrimental to machine performance and life, and may invalidate the Warranty.
A. The warranty period commences from the date the goods are purchased.
B. All warranty claims must be processed through the Dealer from whom the equipment was purchased. The Dealer will co-operate with the purchaser throughout the warranty claims procedure and will arrange any necessary repairs using genuine Numatic parts.
C. If the original Dealer is no longer able to fulfil obligations, please contact Numatic International Limited with full claim details and proof of purchase.
D. Any warranty claim relates only to the specific part proven to be at fault and for which a replacement will be supplied, but cannot be extended to constitute a claim against the complete machine.
E. Numatic International will supply the Dealer with any warranty parts required, subject to claim validation and return of faulty items, in accordance with Numatic International Limited's General Conditions of Sale.
F. Claims will not be accepted if they result from fair wear and tear, misuse, or abuse of any kind.
G. No replacement will be given unless appropriate evidence of the validity of the claim has been provided to the satisfaction of Numatic International Limited.
H. Numatic International Limited reserves the right to charge for any unnecessary work carried out as a result of an invalid claim.
I. No variation to this warranty may be made or implied by any member of Numatic International Limited or its Dealers unless such variation is in writing and authorised by the Company.
