Assembly Instructions

For assembly, use the provided Allen wrench (if included) and a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). Do not substitute parts or use power screwdrivers. Variations in color, grain, or texture are expected due to material nature.

- A-2. End Panel (2): Side panels of the crib.
- B. Front/Back Panel (2): Front and back panels with slats.
- C-1. Mattress Support IV (1): The base for the mattress.
- E-1. Front Bottom Panel (1): Front lower panel.
- F. Bottom Support Rail (2): Rails connecting the bottom panels.
- D. Foot (4): Legs for the crib.
- E-2. Back Bottom Panel (1): Back lower panel.
- G. Toddler Bed Conversion Kit (1): Components for converting to a toddler bed (sold separately).
Hardware List
- H1. 1-3/4" Allen Head Bolt (12): For connecting main frame parts.
- H2. 1-1/2" Allen Head Bolt (4): For connecting bottom support rails.
- H3. 5/8" Allen Head Bolt (16): For attaching side panels and bottom panels.
- H5. Lock Washer (32): Used with bolts to secure connections.
- H6. Wood Dowel (10): For aligning and strengthening joints.
- H7. Metal Plug (4): Used with feet.
- H8. L-Bracket (4): For reinforcing connections.
- H9. Allen Wrench (1): Tool for tightening Allen head bolts.
- H10. 5/8" Allen Head Bolt (Serrated) (4): For attaching the mattress support.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Feet
Attach the four Feet (D) to the Bottom Support Rails (F) using Metal Plugs (H7). Repeat 4 times.
Step 2: Assemble Bottom Panels
Connect the Front Bottom Panel (E-1) and Back Bottom Panel (E-2) to the Bottom Support Rails (F) using Allen Head Bolts (H2), Lock Washers (H5), and Wood Dowels (H6). Ensure proper alignment.
Step 3: Secure Bottom Frame
Attach the Feet (D) to the assembled bottom frame using Allen Head Bolts (H2) and Lock Washers (H5). Repeat 4 times.
Step 4: Attach End Panels
Connect the End Panels (A-2) to the assembled base structure using L-Brackets (H8), Allen Head Bolts (H3), and Lock Washers (H5). Repeat 4 times.
Step 5: Attach Back Bottom Panel
Attach the Back Bottom Panel (E-2) to the End Panels (A-2) using Allen Head Bolts (H3), Lock Washers (H5), and L-Brackets (H8). Repeat 2 times.
Step 6: Attach Front Bottom Panel
Attach the Front Bottom Panel (E-1) to the End Panels (A-2) using Allen Head Bolts (H3), Lock Washers (H5), and L-Brackets (H8). Repeat 2 times.
Step 7: Attach Front/Back Panels
Attach the Front/Back Panels (B) to the structure using Allen Head Bolts (H1) and Lock Washers (H5). Repeat 6 times.
Step 8: Install Mattress Support
Install the Mattress Support (C-1) using Allen Head Bolts (H10). Ensure the mattress support is installed with the flat side UP and is level. Repeat 4 times.
Step 9: Final Check
Recheck all screws and bolts to ensure they are fastened securely. Do not overtighten.
Toddler Bed Conversion Assembly
Step 1: Mattress Support Placement
Ensure the Mattress Support (C-1) is installed at the lowest level.
Step 2: Attach Conversion Kit
Use the same hardware from the crib assembly to attach the Toddler Bed Conversion Kit components (G).
Safety Warnings
- General Warning: Failure to follow warnings and assembly instructions can result in serious injury or death. Read all instructions before assembly.
- Safe Environment: Parents must ensure a safe environment by regularly checking that all components are properly and securely in place before placing a child in the product.
- Usage Restrictions: Do not use if instructions cannot be followed exactly. Do not add soft bedding, pillows, or extra padding.
- SIDS Risk: Pediatricians recommend placing healthy infants on their backs to sleep.
- Strangulation Hazard: Keep strings, cords, ribbons, or similar items away from the crib. Do not place items with strings around a child's neck. Ensure fasteners are tight to prevent entrapment. Keep cribs away from windows with cords.
- Fall Hazard: When a child can stand, lower the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper pads, large toys, or other climbing aids. Do not use if the child can climb out unaided or is taller than 35 inches (89cm).
- Product Check: Regularly check for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Tighten loose bolts. Do not use if parts are missing or damaged. Do not substitute parts; contact Babyletto for replacements.
- Mattress Compatibility: Do not use a water mattress. Ensure teething rails are not damaged. Use only non-toxic finishes if refinishing. Never use plastic films as mattress covers. Ensure there are no gaps between the mattress and crib sides.
- Mattress Size: The mattress must be at least 27 1/4 inches (69cm) wide by 51 5/8 inches (131cm) long, with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches (15cm).
- User Age/Weight: Intended user minimum age is 15 months, maximum weight 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
- Disassembly: Do not remove wood screws during normal disassembly.
Warranty Information
One Year Limited Warranty: Babyletto will replace missing or defective parts within one year of original purchase. Keep your receipt for warranty claims. This warranty covers new units with original packaging and ownership and is not transferable. It does not cover used, secondhand, or demo models, nor damage from installation, assembly, wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper use, or alteration.
Storage and Care
- Storage: Pine wood adjusts to humidity. Place furniture away from heating/air-conditioning vents. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can discolor the finish. Blot spills immediately.
- Care and Cleaning: Do not scratch or chip the finish. Use mild soap on a damp, soft rag. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Refinishing requires a non-toxic finish for children's products; doing so voids the warranty.
