Installation Instructions
⚠️ Warning: Because mounting surface materials can vary widely, it is imperative that you make sure the mounting surface is strong enough to handle the mounted product and equipment.
Step 1: Mount the Base/Clamp
Attach the base (A) or desk clamp to your desk. This can be done by clamping onto the edge of a desk or by using the grommet mount hardware (D) through a desk grommet hole. Ensure the mounting surface is suitable for the chosen method.
Step 2: Assemble Arm Segments
Connect the arm segments (B) to the base and the mounting bracket (C). Optional height adjustment can be made at this stage using a 4mm Allen wrench.
Step 3: Attach Monitor to VESA Plate
Attach the VESA plate (part of C) to the back of your monitor using the provided M4 x 10mm screws. Ensure the monitor is oriented correctly (Portrait/Landscape) and secure it. For 0° rotation, an additional screw may be required.
Step 4: Connect Arm to Monitor Mount
Attach the monitor assembly to the main arm structure.
Step 5: Connect Arm Segments and Monitor
Connect the arm segments and the monitor mount. The arm mechanism is under tension.
⚠️ WARNING! Stored Energy Hazard: The arm mechanism is under tension and will move up rapidly, on its own, as soon as attached equipment is removed. For this reason, DO NOT remove equipment unless the arm has been moved to the highest position! Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury and/or equipment damage!
Step 6: Adjustments
After installation is complete, the product requires adjustment to ensure smooth and stable movement. Make sure all equipment is properly installed before attempting adjustments. The product should move smoothly and stay where set. If movements are too easy or difficult, follow the adjustment instructions. Adjustments may require multiple turns. Repeat adjustments if equipment is added or removed, changing the load weight.
6.1 Lift Adjustment (Up and Down)
Adjust the lift strength to control the vertical movement of the arm. Use a 4mm Allen wrench.
- Increase Lift Strength: If the mounted weight is too heavy or the arm does not stay up when raised, increase lift strength.
- Decrease Lift Strength: If the mounted weight is too light or the arm does not stay down when lowered, decrease lift strength.
⚠️ Caution: Do not overtighten fasteners. Overtightening may cause damage to your equipment.
6.2 Tilt Adjustment (Forward and Backward)
Adjust the tilt tension for desired forward and backward movement of the monitor. Use a 4mm Allen wrench. ⚠️ Caution: Do not remove the screw for tilt adjustment.
6.3 Arm Swing Adjustment (Side-to-Side)
Adjust the arm swing tension for smooth side-to-side movement. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench.
- Increase Friction: If the product moves too easily, increase friction.
- Decrease Friction: If the product is too difficult to move, decrease friction.
⚠️ Caution: Do not remove screws. Do not overtighten fasteners.
Step 7: Cable Management
Route cables through the arm segments. Use cable ties if needed. ⚠️ Caution: Leave enough slack in cables to allow full range of motion. Follow cable routing instructions to avoid pinching cables, equipment damage, or personal injury.
