Installation Steps
Step 1: Mount Base and Clamp Assembly
Diagram Description: Illustrates the desk clamp mechanism (part 3) being attached to the mount base (part A). The clamp screw is shown being inserted through the base and into the desk edge. Dimensions for desk thickness and clamp range are provided.
Dimensions: Max desk thickness: < 2.25" (57 mm). Clamp range: 0.39" - 2" (10-51 mm).
WARNING: Because mounting surface materials can vary widely, it is imperative that you make sure mounting surface is strong enough to handle mounted product and equipment. ⚠️
Step 2: Attach Arm to Base
Diagram Description: Shows the arm component (B) being connected to the top of the assembled mount base (A).
Connect the arm (B) to the top of the mount base assembly.
Step 3: Attach Monitor Bracket
Diagram Description: Depicts the monitor bracket (C) being attached to the back of a monitor using four M4 x 10mm screws. The diagram shows the bracket's ability to rotate for portrait or landscape orientation and indicates where to add a screw for setting 0° rotation.
Attach the monitor bracket (C) to the back of your monitor using four M4 x 10mm screws. This bracket allows for rotation adjustment.
For 0° rotation, add screw. ?
Step 4: Mount Monitor to Arm
Diagram Description: Illustrates the monitor, now with the bracket attached, being mounted onto the arm. Arrows indicate the connection points, and labels 'TOP' and 'BOTTOM' are shown on the monitor's VESA mounting holes for correct alignment.
Secure the monitor assembly to the arm using the provided screws. Ensure the monitor is oriented correctly (TOP/BOTTOM).
Step 5: Connect Arm Sections
Diagram Description: Shows the two main sections of the arm being joined together. One diagram shows the connection in a neutral state, and another shows the arm rotated to 180°.
Connect the two main arm sections. Ensure proper alignment.
Step 6: Cable Management
Diagram Description: Details the process of routing cables along the arm through three stages. It shows how to use cable ties (2x) to secure the cables, emphasizing the need for slack.
Route cables along the arm, ensuring enough slack for full range of motion. Use cable ties if needed. Failure to follow cable routing instructions may result in equipment damage or personal injury. ⚠️
Use Cable Ties if needed. 2x
Adjustments
Height Adjustment
Diagram Description: Demonstrates using the 4mm hex screwdriver to adjust the vertical position of the arm, showing multiple height levels. ⬆️⬇️
Use the 4mm hex screwdriver ? to adjust the height of the arm. The arm should move smoothly and stay in position.
Lift Strength Adjustment
Diagram Description: Visual representation of adjusting lift strength using a scale with '+' and '-' symbols, indicating it's related to the weight of the mounted object (kg/lbs).
Adjust lift strength to ensure the arm stays in the desired position. Increase strength if the monitor is too heavy or the arm drifts down. Decrease strength if the monitor is too light or the arm drifts up.
Weight Capacity: 4 - 22 lbs (1.8 - 10 kg) ⚖️
Tilt Adjustment
Diagram Description: Shows the arm tilting forward and backward, illustrating the range of tilt motion. ?
Adjust the tilt of the monitor arm to achieve the desired viewing angle. CAUTION: DO NOT remove screw. Removing screw may cause damage to equipment. ⚠️
Arm Swing (Pan) Adjustment
Diagram Description: Depicts the arm swinging horizontally from side to side (panning). ?
Adjust the arm swing to pan the monitor left or right. Use the 2.5mm hex screwdriver ? for this adjustment.
Friction Adjustment
Diagram Description: Visual representation of adjusting friction using a scale with '+' and '-' symbols, indicating it affects the ease of movement.
Adjust friction to ensure smooth movement. Increase friction if the arm moves too easily. Decrease friction if the arm is too difficult to move.
