Installation Steps
Follow these steps for proper installation:
-
Step 1: Base Attachment
Attach the first arm component to the base of the mounting system.
-
Step 2: Securing Component
Secure the attached component using a screw and the 4mm Allen wrench.
-
Step 3: Connecting Arm Segments
Connect the first main arm segment to the vertical pole.
-
Step 4: Second Arm Connection
Connect the second arm segment to the first arm segment.
-
Step 5: Monitor Attachment
Attach your monitor to the mounting plate using four M4 x 10mm screws. Ensure the monitor is oriented correctly (TOP/BOTTOM indicators may be present).
Rotation: The monitor mount can be rotated between portrait and landscape orientations. For 0° rotation, an additional screw is used.
-
Step 6: Arm Adjustment (Angles)
The arm mechanism is under tension and will move rapidly upwards when attached equipment is removed. Warning: To avoid stored energy hazards, do not remove equipment unless the arm has been moved to its highest position. Failure to follow this warning can result in serious personal injury or equipment damage.
-
Step 7: Cable Management
Route cables through the arm to allow for the full range of motion. Caution: Ensure sufficient cable slack for full movement. Follow the cable routing instructions in this manual to prevent pinching cables. Failure to do so may result in equipment damage or personal injury. Use cable ties if needed.
-
Step 8: Optional Setup
Diagrams show how to achieve 180° and 360° rotation adjustments for the arm.
Adjustment Procedures
After installation, adjustments are necessary to ensure smooth and easy movement. The product should move freely and stay in the desired position.
General Adjustments (Step 5)
If movements are too easy, too difficult, or the product does not stay in place, follow the adjustment instructions. Adjustments may require multiple turns. Repeat adjustment steps whenever equipment is added or removed, as this changes the mounted load weight.
Lift Adjustment (Up and Down) (Step 6)
To Increase Lift Strength: If the mounted weight is too heavy or the product does not stay up when raised, increase the lift strength.
To Decrease Lift Strength: If the mounted weight is too light or the product does not stay down when lowered, decrease the lift strength.
Caution: Do not overtighten screws, as this can damage equipment.
Tilt Adjustment (Forward and Backward) (Step 7)
To Increase Friction (for Tilt): If the product moves too easily, increase friction.
To Decrease Friction (for Tilt): If the product is too difficult to move, decrease friction.
Caution: Do not remove the screw, as this can damage equipment.
Arm Swing Adjustment (Side-to-Side) (Step 8)
To Increase Friction (for Arm Swing): If the product moves too easily, increase friction.
To Decrease Friction (for Arm Swing): If the product is too difficult to move, decrease friction.
Caution: Do not remove screws. Do not overtighten fasteners, as this can damage equipment.
