INSTEON Hub Overview
The INSTEON Hub is the central controller for your smart home devices.
Key Components:
- Status LED: Indicates the hub's operational state.
- Idle: ?
- Linking: ?
- Unlinking: ?
- Ethernet Port: For wired network connection.
- Power Port: Connect the power adapter here.
- Factory Reset Button: Resets the hub to its default settings.
The starter kit includes an Ethernet Cable and a Power Cable. Please use only the cables provided.
Getting Started: Setup Steps
Step 1: Download the INSTEON for Hub App
Download and install the latest INSTEON for Hub App from your device's app store. The app features a house icon with a hand.
Scan the QR code [QR Code Symbol] for the free app.
Step 2: Set Up Your INSTEON Hub
Launch the INSTEON for Hub App and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your INSTEON Hub.
The app will guide you through connecting the Hub to your network.
Step 3: Add Devices
Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your INSTEON devices to your system.
Remote Access
Monitor and control your INSTEON devices from anywhere. To configure remote access, navigate to Settings > House > Remote Access Guide within the app.

INSTEON Devices
On/Off Module
This module controls lights, fans, or other appliances. It features a Status LED (On: ?, Off: ?) and an On/Off/Set Button.
Maximum load capacity: Up to 1,800W/15A.

Motion Sensor
Detects motion to trigger automations or security alerts. It includes a Status LED, Wall Mount Retention Slot, Settings Jumpers, a 9V Battery (Included), and a Set Button.

WiFi Camera
Provides video monitoring for your home. Key features include a Day/Night Sensor, Night Vision LEDs, Microphone, Speaker, Ethernet Port, Power Port, and Audio Antenna.

Expand Your System
Control a wide range of devices, from light switches and thermostats to pool pumps, with additional INSTEON devices.

Create Schedules
Automate your home by setting schedules for individual devices or entire scenes. Navigate to Settings > Schedules within the app.
Schedule options include time-based events (⏰), daytime routines (☀️), and nighttime routines (?).
