Getting Started with Your INSTEON Hub
This guide will help you set up your INSTEON Hub and connect your smart home devices.
INSTEON Hub Overview
The INSTEON Hub is the central controller for your smart home system.
Hub Components:
- Status LED: Indicates the hub's operational state. ☀️ (Idle / Linking), ? (Unlinking)
- Factory Reset Button: Resets the hub to its default settings.
- Power Port: For connecting the power adapter.
- Ethernet Port: For connecting to your network router.

Setup Steps
Step 1: Download and Install the App
Download and install the latest INSTEON for Hub App from your device's app store.

Step 2: Setup Your INSTEON Hub
Launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your INSTEON Hub.

Step 3: Add Your Devices
Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your INSTEON devices.

Remote Access
You can monitor and control your devices remotely when you are away from home. To configure remote access, navigate to Settings > House > Remote Access Guide within the INSTEON app.

INSTEON Devices
On/Off Module
Control lights and appliances with the INSTEON On/Off Module.
- Status LED: ? (On), ? (Off)

Motion Sensor
Detect motion within your home for security and automation.
- Status LED: (Indicates status)
- Components: Wall Mount Retention Slot, Settings Jumpers, 9V Battery (Included), Set Button

Monitor doors and windows for open or closed states.

Thermostat
