Introduction to Your INSTEON System

INSTEON Hub Overview
The INSTEON Hub is the core of your smart home network. It connects to your home's router via an Ethernet cable and to a power source via a power cable.
Key Components:
- Status LED: Indicates the Hub's operational state. A green light signifies 'Idle / Linking', while a red light indicates 'Unlinking'.
- Factory Reset Button: Used to restore the Hub to its default settings.
- Power Port: Connects to the included power adapter.
- Ethernet Port: Connects to your router for network access.
Included Cables: Use only the provided Ethernet Cable and Power Cable.
Getting Started: Setup Steps
Step 1: Install the INSTEON for Hub App
