Language can be changed via the Cardo Connect mobile app.

Getting Started

On / Off

Press the control wheel for 5 seconds to turn the device on or off. ? (5 sec.)

Volume Control

Increase Volume: Press the control wheel once. ➕

Decrease Volume: Press the control wheel twice. ➖

Mute / Unmute

Mute: Press the control wheel once. ?

Unmute: Press the control wheel once. ?

Use While Charging

Connect the USB cable to charge the device. You can use the device while it is charging. ? (1 sec.)

Pair Mobile Devices

Initiate Pairing

Press the control wheel for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue. ?? (5 sec.)

Pair Phone

On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "CARDO". ?

Cancel Pairing

Press the control wheel for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red. ? (5 sec.)

Status: Paired successfully. ?

Pair Additional Devices

Add a 2nd Phone / GPS

Initiate pairing by pressing the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Pair Phone

Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone and select "CARDO". ?

Pair GPS

Search for Bluetooth devices on your GPS and select "CARDO". ?️

Status: Paired successfully. ?

Phone Operations

Voice Dial

Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Redial

Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Speed Dial

Press and hold the control wheel for 2 seconds. Set via app. ? (2 sec.)

Share Call with DMC Group

Bridging active phone calls to the DMC group. Press the control wheel once to start/stop sharing. ? (x1)

Managing Calls

Answer a Call

Press any of the buttons once. ? (x1)

Ignore a Call

Press any of the buttons once. ? (x1)

Reject a Call

Press any of the three buttons for 2 seconds. ??? (2 sec.)

End a Call

Press any of the three buttons once. ? (x1)

Audio - FM Radio

Turn On/Off

On: Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Off: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Previous/Next Station

Previous: Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Next: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Auto Scan / Stop Scan

Auto Scan: Press and scroll the control wheel. ?

Stop Scan: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Audio - Music

Turn On/Off

On: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Off: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Previous/Next Track

Previous: Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Next: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

FM/Music Toggle

Press and hold the control wheel for 2 seconds. ? (2 sec.)

Sharing Audio

In Bluetooth mode, press and hold the control wheel for 2 seconds to start/stop sharing. ? (2 sec.)

DMC Intercom Grouping

Verify Mode

Ensure you are in DMC Mode. ?

Change Intercom Mode

Switch between Bluetooth and DMC modes. ?/? (x1)

Create / Join a new DMC Group

1. Admin + all group members / new member: Press and hold the control wheel for 5 seconds until rapid flashing. ? (5 sec.)
2. THEN ONLY ONE GROUP ADMIN: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Status: Grouped successfully. ?

Cancel Grouping

Press and hold the control wheel for 5 seconds until rapid flashing. ? (5 sec.)

Using DMC Intercom

Talking - Always On

Mute Group: Press and hold the control wheel for 2 seconds. ? (2 sec.)

Unmute Group: Press and hold the control wheel for 2 seconds. ? (2 sec.)

Mute/Unmute Microphone

Press the control wheel once to mute or unmute the microphone. ? (x1)

Private Chat

Chat privately with one group member.

1. Choose member for private chat: Via Mobile App.
2. Start / Stop chat: Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Bridge (add) a non-DMC passenger

1. First, verify that the passenger is paired via Bluetooth (see 2-way Bluetooth intercom pairing).
2. Press the control wheel once to start/stop bridging. ? (x1)

Set a Cardo Non-DMC Intercom

Verify Mode

Ensure you are in Bluetooth Mode. ?

Change Intercom Mode

Switch between Bluetooth and DMC modes. ?/? (x1)

2-way pairing

Initiate intercom pairing by pressing the control wheel for 5 seconds. ? (5 sec.)

Adding 3rd rider

Press the control wheel twice to initiate pairing. ?? (x2)

Adding 4th rider

Rider 2 connects to Rider 3 on Rider 2's free channel.

Set a Universal Intercom

Verify Mode

Ensure you are in Bluetooth Mode. ?

Change Intercom Mode

Switch between Bluetooth and DMC modes. ?/? (x1)

2-way pairing

Initiate phone pairing by pressing the control wheel for 5 seconds. ? (5 sec.)

Adding 3rd rider

Press the control wheel twice to initiate pairing. ?? (x2)

Adding 4th rider

Rider 2 connects to Rider 3 on Rider 2's free channel.

Intercom

Start / End / Add Rider 1

Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)

Start / End / Add Rider 2

Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Initiate 4-way Intercom Conference

• Connects to rider 1: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)
• Connects to rider 3: Press the control wheel once. ? (x1)
• Connects to rider 2: Press the control wheel twice. ?? (x2)

Voice Commands (Always On!)

Just say "Hey Cardo"

• FM: "Hey Cardo, radio on", "Hey Cardo, radio off", "Hey Cardo, next station", "Hey Cardo, previous station"
• Music: "Hey Cardo, music on", "Hey Cardo, music off", "Hey Cardo, next track", "Hey Cardo, previous track"
• Volume: "Hey Cardo, volume up", "Hey Cardo, volume down", "Hey Cardo, mute audio", "Hey Cardo, unmute audio"
• Phone: "Hey Cardo, speed dial", "Hey Cardo, redial number", Answer, Ignore
• Voice Assistants: "Hey Siri", "Ok Google"
• Status: "Hey Cardo, battery status", "Hey Cardo, call intercom"

Factory Reset

Press and hold the control wheel for 5 seconds. The LED will flash 5 times. ? (5 sec.)
