Power and Wiring
Power: This unit operates on a mains supply of 100-240 V ~ 50-60 Hz.
Wiring: The unit is supplied with a BS 1363 approved main plug. When replacing the fuse, always use a fuse of the same rating and approved to BS 1362. Never use the plug with the fuse cover omitted. Contact your dealer for a replacement fuse cover. If the plug type is unsuitable for your mains sockets, remove it and fit a suitable type. Please refer to the wiring instructions below:
Warning: A mains plug removed from the mains lead must be destroyed. A plug with bared wires is hazardous if inserted into a mains socket. Do not connect either wire to the earth pin (marked E, earth symbol ⏚, or colored green/green-yellow). If any other plug is fitted, use the same rating fuse in the plug.
Important Wire Colors:
- BLUE: NEUTRAL
- BROWN: LIVE
Connect the blue wire to the terminal marked N or colored black. Connect the brown wire to the terminal marked L or colored red.

Installing and Using the Product

Product Components:
- A Sound bar
- B Remote Control Receiver / Status Display
- C Wireless Subwoofer - Install it close to the sound bar.
- D External Device - (Blu-ray player, game console, etc.)
Connections:
- a Connect the sound bar to your TV via an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
- b If using an external device (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console), connect it to the sound bar via an HDMI cable.
- c Connect to power in the following order: wireless subwoofer, then sound bar. Then, turn on the sound bar. The LED on the wireless subwoofer will light up green when the connection is automatically established.
Using the Product with Your TV:
- Press the Function button repeatedly until "OPT/HDMI ARC" appears on the status display.
- On your TV’s settings, set the output speaker to [HDMI ARC], [Optical], or [External Speaker].
- When the TV is properly connected, "OPT" or "ARC" appears on the status display with sound.
Connecting via Bluetooth:
- On your smartphone, tap the Settings button and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function (Off > On).
- Press the Bluetooth pair button. After a moment, "BT READY" will appear on the status display.
- Find and tap the product on your smartphone. It appears as "LG SP7 (XX)".
- When the product is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the status display changes from "PAIRED" to "Connected Bluetooth device name" to "BT".
Connecting to the LG Sound Bar App:
- Find and install the LG Sound Bar app on Google Play or the App Store from your smartphone.
- You can get more information regarding its use by selecting [Help] in [Setting].
Troubleshooting Wireless Subwoofer Connection:
If you see a red LED on the back of the wireless subwoofer, it means the sound bar is not connected to the subwoofer. If this is the case, connect them in the following order:
- Press the Power button on the sound bar to turn it off.
- Press the PAIRING button on the back of the disconnected wireless subwoofer. Check if the LED blinks green.
- If you still see a red LED on the back of the wireless subwoofer, press and hold the button on the back of the subwoofer again.
- Press the Power button on the sound bar to turn it on.
- When the connection is established, you will see a green LED light on the back of the wireless subwoofer.
Important Notes:
- Keep the sound bar and subwoofer away from devices (e.g., wireless router, microwave oven) over 1 meter to prevent wireless interference.
- Some speakers may not produce sound depending on the input source. Select CINEMA sound mode to listen through all speakers.

Connection Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the rear panel connections for the sound bar and the placement of components. The sound bar features the following ports:
- HDMI IN (ARC)
- HDMI IN
- OPTICAL IN (TV ARC)
- HDMI OUT
An external device (D), such as a Blu-ray player or game console, connects via HDMI to the sound bar's HDMI IN port. The sound bar connects to the TV using either the HDMI OUT port or the OPTICAL IN (TV ARC) port. The wireless subwoofer (C) is positioned near the sound bar.
The product also includes a Remote Control Receiver / Status Display (B) on the front. The remote control itself is shown with a battery compartment, indicating the need for battery replacement, though specific instructions are not provided in this document.
