Front Panel
The buttons are located on the side:
- ⏚ (Standby): Switches the unit ON or OFF.
- F (Function): Selects function.
- ? (Volume): Adjusts volume.
Rear Panel
Ports available:
- DC IN: Connect to the AC adapter.
- OPTICAL IN: Connect to an optical device.
- HDMI IN: Connect to a device with HDMI OUT.
- HDMI OUT (TV ARC): Connect to a TV.
- USB Port: Connect to a USB device.
⚠️ Make sure to properly align and connect the optical cable; improper alignment may cause damage to the jack.
Subwoofer Connection
Place the wireless subwoofer near the sound bar and follow these steps:
- Connect the power cord of the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer to the outlet.
- Turn on the sound bar. The sound bar and wireless subwoofer will connect automatically. The subwoofer's green LED will turn on.
Manual Subwoofer Connection
If the subwoofer does not make sound, try to connect manually:
- Press PAIRING on the rear of the wireless subwoofer. The green LED on the rear will blink quickly. (If the green LED does not blink, press and hold the PAIRING button.)
- Turn on the sound bar. Pairing is completed, and the green LED on the rear of the wireless subwoofer will turn on.
ℹ️ Keep the sound bar and subwoofer more than 1 meter (3.3 ft) away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent wireless interference.
TV Connection
Connect the sound bar and TV using an Optical cable or HDMI ARC.
Optical Connection
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an Optical cable.
- Set up [External Speaker (Optical)] in your TV's setting menu.
HDMI (ARC) Connection
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an HDMI cable.
- Set up [External Speaker (HDMI ARC)] in your TV's setting menu.
❗ HDMI connection is unavailable if your TV does not support HDMI ARC.
❗ If this unit is connected by OPTICAL and ARC simultaneously, the ARC signal has higher priority.
Additional Device Connection
Connect external devices as follows:
- Connect an external device (e.g., Set-top Box, Player) to the sound bar using HDMI IN or OPTICAL IN.
- Set the input source on the sound bar by pressing F repeatedly.
Remote Control
Battery Replacement:
The remote control requires AAA batteries.
Button Functions:
- ⏭️ / ⏪ (Skip/Search): Skips tracks or searches.
- ▶️ / ⏸️ (Play/Pause): Controls playback.
- Bluetooth connection lock (BT LOCK): Press F repeatedly to select Bluetooth function. Long press ▶️ / ⏸️ to limit Bluetooth connection to only BT and LG TV.
- SOUND EFFECT: Selects a sound effect mode.
- TV remote: Long press SOUND EFFECT and press it again to use TV remote control functions.
- ? (Folder): Searches a folder.
- ℹ️ (Info): Displays information about the file, input source, or connected Bluetooth device name.
- Auto Power ON/OFF: Long press ℹ️ and press it again to toggle Auto Power ON/OFF.
- ? (Volume adjustment): Adjusts sound level.
- Surround sound: Long press ? and press it again to activate/deactivate surround sound.
- REPEAT: Listens to your files repeatedly or randomly.

For models using a Laser device:
This product employs a Laser System. Read this manual carefully for proper use and retain for future reference. Contact an authorized service center for maintenance. Use of controls, adjustments, or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure. Do not try to open the enclosure to prevent direct exposure to the laser beam.
For models using a battery:
This device is equipped with a portable battery or accumulator. CAUTION: Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
How to Safely remove batteries or battery pack: Follow assembly steps in reverse order. Dispose of old batteries/packs in designated collection points to prevent environmental contamination and health threats. Do not dispose of with other waste. Use local, free reimbursement systems if available. Do not expose batteries/packs to excessive heat.
For models using a built-in battery:
- Do not store or transport at pressures lower than 11.6 kPa (0.116 bar) and at above 15,000 m (9.32 miles) altitude.
- Beware of battery replacement with incorrect types, disposal in fire or hot oven, mechanical crushing, or exposure to extreme temperatures or low air pressure, which can cause explosion or leakage.
For models using an adapter:
Only use the AC adapter supplied with this device. Do not use a power supply from another device or manufacturer, as it may cause damage and void your warranty.

This limited warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and applies only when purchased and used within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories.
Warranty Period:
- Parts: One (1) Year from Original Purchase Date
- Labor: One (1) Year from Original Purchase Date
Replacement products or repair parts are warranted for the remaining portion of the original warranty period. If the original purchase date cannot be verified, the warranty begins on the 1st day of the manufacture month.

Visit www.lg.com or call 1-800-243-0000 for troubleshooting or repair/replacement instructions. LG covers inbound and outbound shipping during the warranty period.
Limitations of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. LG is not liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages. LG's total liability shall not exceed the invoice value paid by the customer for the product.
This Limited Warranty Does Not Apply To:
- Service trips for installation, education, or unauthorized repairs.
- Damage or failure due to power failures, interruptions, or inadequate electrical service.
- Damage or failure from operating the product contrary to instructions or intended purpose.
- Damage (including cosmetic), deterioration, malfunction, or personal injury due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance/storage, or acts of nature.
- Damage or failure from improper installation, repair, maintenance, or foreign objects.
- Damage or failure from unauthorized modification, alteration, or use with incompatible devices.
- Damage or failure from reception problems or computer software issues.
- Damage or failure from incorrect electrical current, voltage, or unapproved cleaning products.
- Damage from transportation/handling unless reported within one week of delivery.
- Damage to display, open box, discounted, or refurbished products.
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Unauthorized accessories and software.
- Increases in utility costs.
- Damage from institutional or commercial use.
The cost of repair or replacement for excluded circumstances will be borne by the customer.
