Safety Precautions
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

WARNING: Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit.
CAUTION: Do not use high voltage products around this product (e.g., electrical swatter). This product may malfunction due to electrical shock.
CAUTION: No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
CAUTION: Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Slots and openings are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation and prevent overheating. Never block openings by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface. Do not place in built-in installations like bookcases or racks unless proper ventilation is provided or manufacturer's instructions are followed.
CAUTION concerning the Power Cord: The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.
CAUTION: The apparatus should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing), and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the apparatus.

CAUTION: Only use the AC adapter supplied with this device. Do not use a power supply from another device or manufacturer. Using any other power cable or supply may cause damage and void your warranty.
The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
If the appliance is supplied from a cord extension set or an electrical portable outlet device, position it so it is not subject to splashing or ingress of moisture.
For models using a battery: This device is equipped with a portable battery or accumulator. Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
RF Radiation Exposure Statement: This equipment shall be installed and used at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the human body.

Front Panel
The buttons are located on the side of the sound bar.
- (Standby): Switches the unit ON or OFF.
- F (Function): Selects function.
- -/+ (Volume): Adjusts volume.
Rear Panel
Diagram Description: The rear panel features several connection ports.
- DC IN: Connect to the AC adapter.
- OPTICAL IN: Connect to an optical device.
- HDMI IN: Connect to a device with HDMI OUT.
- HDMI OUT (TV ARC): Connect to a TV.
- USB Port: Connect to a USB device.
Important Note for Optical Connection: Make sure to properly align and connect the optical cable. Improper alignment may cause damage to the jack.
Subwoofer Connection
Place the wireless subwoofer near the sound bar and follow these steps:
- Connect the power cord of the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer to the outlet.
- Turn on the sound bar.
The sound bar and wireless subwoofer should automatically connect. The subwoofer's green LED will turn on.
Manual Subwoofer Connection
If the subwoofer does not make sound, try to connect it manually:
- Press the PAIRING button on the rear of the wireless subwoofer. The green LED on the rear will blink quickly. (If the green LED does not blink, press and hold the PAIRING button.)
- Turn on the sound bar.
Pairing is completed when the green LED on the rear of the wireless subwoofer turns on.
Interference Prevention: Keep the sound bar and the subwoofer at least 1 meter (approx. 3 feet) away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent wireless interference.
TV Connection
Connect the sound bar and TV using either an Optical cable or an HDMI ARC cable.
Optical Connection
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an Optical cable.
- On your TV's setting menu, set up [External Speaker (Optical)].

HDMI (ARC) Connection
- Connect the sound bar to the TV using an HDMI cable.
- On your TV's setting menu, set up [External Speaker (HDMI ARC)].

Note: HDMI connection is unavailable if your TV does not support HDMI ARC. If this unit is connected by OPTICAL and ARC simultaneously, the ARC signal has a higher priority.
Additional Device Connection
Connect external devices such as set-top boxes or players.
Diagram Description: Illustrates connecting external devices (e.g., Set-top Box, Player) to the sound bar's HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port, and connecting the sound bar to the TV's HDMI IN (ARC) or OPTICAL IN port. Alternatively, it shows connecting an external device to the TV's HDMI IN and the TV's OPTICAL OUT to the sound bar's OPTICAL IN.
After connecting, set the input source on the sound bar by repeatedly pressing the F (Function) button.
Remote Control
Diagram Description: Shows the remote control with various buttons.
- C/V: Skip/Search
- N: Play/Pause
- Bluetooth connection lock (BT LOCK): Select the Bluetooth function by pressing F repeatedly. Long press N and press it again to limit Bluetooth connection to only BT and LG TV.
- SOUND EFFECT: Selects a sound effect mode.
- TV remote: Long press SOUND EFFECT and press it again to use TV remote control functions.
- FOLDER W/S: Searches a folder.
- J: Displays the information of a file, an input source, or the connected Bluetooth device name.
- Auto Power ON/OFF: Long press J and press it again.
- [Volume Adjustment Symbol]: Adjusts sound level of each speaker.
- Surround sound: Long press and press it again.
- REPEAT: Listens to your files repeatedly or randomly.
