Kid's sleep CLOCK - User Instructions
This document provides instructions for the Pabobo Kid's sleep CLOCK, a children's alarm clock designed to help children learn to tell time and improve sleep habits.
Important Information
Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference.
The Kid'Sleep Clock is a patented product designed with children's needs in mind, focusing on time learning and sleep.
Key Features and Operation
Lock Mode
Many functions are inaccessible when the [Lock icon] is visible on the LCD screen. To deactivate LOCK mode, press and hold the SET button on the back for over 3 seconds. The [Lock icon] will disappear. The mode will reactivate automatically if no action is taken after unlocking.
Setting Analogue Time (Hands)
On the back of the Kid'Sleep Clock, turn the dial to set the desired time.
Setting Digital Time (Alarm and Current Time)
Ensure the device is unlocked (no [Lock icon] on screen).
- When the HH (hour) is flashing, set the desired alarm time (#1). The [Alarm icon] will be displayed.
- Once the alarm is set, you can set the current time (#2).
- To skip setting the current time (e.g., if only changing the alarm), press the SET button twice after setting the alarm.
To switch the digital display between AM/PM and 24-hour format, simultaneously press the Arrow button and the SET button.
Setting Hours and Minutes (HH:MM)
When hours or minutes are flashing, use the [Arrow button] on the back to select the desired digits. Press the SET button to validate. Holding the [Arrow button] allows for faster scrolling forward (you cannot scroll backward).
Note: The digital time operates independently of the analogue time. The analogue hands may need occasional adjustment to match the LCD display. The alarm time synchronizes with the digital time, not the analogue hands.
Alarm Settings
The Kid'Sleep Clock can be used in three ways:
- 1) With alarm and wake-up night light (acoustic and visual).
- 2) With alarm only (acoustic wake-up).
- 3) With wake-up night light only (visual wake-up, no sound).
Using the Wake-up Night Light
Activate the switch located on the back of the night light area. At the set wake-up time, the [Moon symbol] turns off, and the [Sun symbol] turns on.
Selecting Alarm Type
Use the slider to select the alarm type. Move the slider fully to the left for no alarm sound (OFF).
Main Red Switch
This switch controls the basic functions. Once settings are made, the red switch turns the alarm's functions ON or OFF in one go. It is typically set to OFF during the day and ON during the night.
Dial Illumination
To read the time in the dark, press the "mushroom button". The analogue clock and the LCD screen will illuminate for a few seconds before turning off automatically.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the "mushroom button" to snooze for 3 minutes. To turn the alarm off permanently, set the main red switch to OFF.
Power Supply
The Kid'Sleep Clock operates via a mains adapter. It can also be powered by 2 AA batteries. If the night light function is used for 12 hours a day, battery life is limited to approximately 1 month.
