Lock Mode
Many functions are inaccessible if the LOCK icon (?) is visible on the LCD screen on the back of the device.
To deactivate LOCK mode, press and hold the OK button (?) continuously for more than 3 seconds. The LOCK icon will then disappear.
If no action is performed for 20 seconds after unlocking, LOCK mode will automatically reactivate.
Start-up and Installation
Connect the product using its adapter and/or batteries (refer to safety procedures below).
Programming
The device requires programming for time, wake-up time, and nap duration.
1. Setting the Current Time
- Ensure the device is unlocked (press OK for >3s if ? is visible).
- Press the TIME button (⏰).
- Switch between AM/PM and 24-hour mode by simultaneously pressing the + and - buttons (↔️).
- Scroll through hours using the + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm hours.
- Minutes will flash. Scroll through minutes using + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm minutes.
- The time HH:mm is now set. Repeat steps to change.
2. Setting Permitted Get-Up Time
- Ensure the device is unlocked.
- Press the GET UP button (☀️).
- Scroll through hours using + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm hours.
- Minutes will flash. Scroll through minutes using + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm minutes.
- The get-up time HH:mm is now set. Repeat steps to change.
You can check the programmed get-up time by pressing the GET UP button (even when locked); it will display for 5 seconds.
3. Setting Duration (Nap Mode)
- Ensure the device is unlocked.
- Press the NAP button (?).
- Scroll through hours using + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm hours.
- Minutes will flash. Scroll through minutes using + and - buttons.
- Briefly press OK (✅) to confirm minutes.
- The nap duration HH:mm is now set. Repeat steps to change.
You can check the programmed nap duration by pressing the NAP button (even when locked); it will display for 5 seconds.
After setting the reference time, get-up time, and nap duration, your Kid Sleep is ready!
Choosing the Front Panel Mode
Your Kid Sleep can be used in 3 ways:
- Night Light Mode: The entire front panel is illuminated. Use with the sleeping character plate.
- Sleeptrainer Mode (Silent): Will not wake your child but indicates if they can get up when they wake. Use with the sleeping character plate + awake character plate.
- Wake-Up Mode: An alarm with birdsong will sound at the programmed time. Use with the sleeping character plate + awake character plate.
To choose the mode:
- Ensure the device is unlocked (no ? icon).
- Press the MODE button (M). The triangular cursor (▼) will move to the selected mode's pictogram.
- Each press of MODE moves the cursor:
- Default: Silent Sleeptrainer
- 1st press: Wake-Up (with sound)
- 2nd press: Night Light
- 3rd press: Returns to Default mode
Daily Use
The cursor on the top of the product indicates the status:
- OFF: Product is off.
- GET UP (☀️): The lower part of the front panel lights up (sleeping character). The device will switch to the get-up phase (upper part of the front panel lights up, awake character) at the programmed time (2), with or without an audible alarm depending on the selected mode (see section 4). The clock on the front panel lights up showing the current time.
- NAP (?): A countdown for the nap duration. The clock on the front panel shows the remaining time HH:mm before the get-up phase is activated.
Once your child is up, you can turn the product OFF. The front panel (clock and decoration) will turn off.
To use it again, simply reposition the cursor to GET UP or NAP mode.
Tips & Tricks
- Brightness: You can adjust the front panel brightness to three levels using the + and - buttons.
- Clock: Turn off the illuminated clock on the front panel by pressing the switch above it (4).
- Projections: Deactivate the moon/sun projections by pressing the switch on the back of the device (5).
These functions (brightness, clock, projections) are not locked, allowing parents and children to adapt them. Settings are reserved for parents.
Keep unused decorative plates in a safe place with the instructions.
Environment
Batteries contain components that are difficult to recycle. Please dispose of them at designated collection points, not in household waste.

Any modifications or disassembly will void the warranty. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself; contact customer service at https://pabobo.com/contact/.
General Warnings:
- Keep out of reach of children under three years old due to the risk of strangulation from the electric wire.
- The Kid'Sleep does not replace parental supervision.
- Regularly inspect the transformer for damage to the cable, plug, casing, etc. Do not use if damaged.
- Use only the recommended transformer. The transformer is not a toy.
- Do not connect to more power sources than recommended.
- Disconnect the transformer before any maintenance (e.g., changing batteries).
- Never clean the Kid'Sleep with liquid.
- Remove or discard all packaging before giving to children.
- Keep this manual for reference.
- Colors and details may vary from the product shown on the box.
- Do not use near water or heat sources. Ensure the power cord is positioned safely to prevent tripping or entanglement.
- In case of radio frequency interference, normal operation may be disrupted. Resetting the device by removing and reinstalling batteries may resolve issues.
Battery Information
- Alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum performance.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- If using rechargeable batteries, remove them from the unit before recharging.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Remove used batteries promptly.
- Do not short-circuit terminals or dispose of batteries in fire.
Battery Installation:
- Disconnect the external power source if the transformer/adapter is connected.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the screw.
- Insert 3 new AA batteries according to the diagram on the cover.
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the safety screw.
- Rechargeable batteries must be recharged under adult supervision.
Environmental Protection
Your device contains recyclable materials. Please do not dispose of it in household waste. Take it to a designated collection center for small electrical appliances.
