First Installation
1. Automatic Earbud Pairing
A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the stickers.
B. Press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3+ seconds to power on. One earbud will show a solid white light, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect via Bluetooth
Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" in your device's Bluetooth settings. Two beeps followed by solid white lights indicate successful pairing.

Adding New Bluetooth Devices
Turn OFF Bluetooth on a previously paired device. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" in your device's settings to pair.

Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap
- Switch Music/Movie Mode: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Equalizer Modes: Triple tap (Cycles through 3 EQ settings: JLab Signature, Balanced, Bass Boost)
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Play/Pause: Double tap
- Next Track: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Answer Call: Single tap
- Hang Up Call: Double tap
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Be Aware On/Off: Triple tap
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds
Audio Notifications
- Power On: Ring
- Bluetooth Pairing: Two Beeps
- Battery Low: "Low battery" (less than 20%)
- Power Off: Ring
Equalizer Modes
Triple-tap the left earbud to cycle through different EQ settings. Voice prompts will announce the selected EQ mode.
- JLab Signature (One Beep): JLab C3™ signature sound with enhanced vocals and bass.
- Balanced (Two Beeps): Balanced sound with no extra sound enhancements.
- Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Enhanced bass and sub-bass performance.
Charging the Earbuds
1. Placing the earbuds in the charging case will turn them OFF and begin charging. Blue indicator lights show the earbuds are charging and will turn OFF when fully charged.
2. When removed from the charging case, the earbuds will automatically turn ON and pair with your device.

Fit and Positioning
Try the optional Cush Fins and all ear tips for the best fit and proper positioning.

Troubleshooting Pairing Issues
No Sound in Left Earbud or Earbuds Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and "Forget" the JBuds Air Executive. [Visual Description: Screenshot of Bluetooth settings showing the device name.]
- Open the charging case lid and place both earbuds inside.
- For ONE earbud, tap the touch sensor 7 times quickly. The light will flash blue 3 times. Leave the earbuds in the charging case. [Visual Description: Diagram shows tapping the touch sensor on one earbud.]
- Repeat for the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times quickly. The light will flash blue 3 times. [Visual Description: Diagram shows tapping the touch sensor on the second earbud.]
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case and hold them within 5 cm (2 inches) of each other. One earbud will turn solid white, and the other will flash blue/white. They are now ready to pair with your device.
Bluetooth Device Not Pairing (or Re-pairing)
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and "Forget" the JBuds Air Executive. [Visual Description: Screenshot of Bluetooth settings.]

- Remove the earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light and the other to flash blue/white.
- Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" in your device's Bluetooth settings to re-pair.

Quick Tips
- Completely dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case.
- The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Simply remove one from the case to connect.
- Choosing the correct ear tip significantly impacts audio quality by ensuring a proper seal. Test all ear tips for the best results.
- Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn OFF Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn ON Bluetooth on the desired device to connect.
Warnings
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
- Prevent dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax buildup can reduce sound quality. Gently clean earbuds with a cotton swab or small tool.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stop use.
- If discomfort persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat your earbuds with care, like a valuable accessory, and store them in a safe place when not in use.
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charger. Wet or moist earbuds can damage the charging case, voiding the warranty.
