Getting Started
Step 1: Auto-Pairing
A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.
B. Touch and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3 seconds to power them on. One earbud will turn solid white, while the other will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your device.
Step 2: Connect to Bluetooth
On your device's settings menu, select "JLab JBuds Air Executive". A solid white light and two audible beeps will confirm your connection.
Step 3: Pairing New or Additional Bluetooth Devices
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on your new device. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically begin Bluetooth pairing. Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" from your device's settings to connect.

Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Tap: Volume Down ?️
- Double Tap: Activate Siri (iOS) or OK Google (Android) ?️
- Long Press (1 second): Switch Music/Movie Mode ?
- Triple Tap: Cycle through EQ modes (JLab Signature, Balanced, Bass Boost) ?️
- Press (3 seconds): Power On ⚡
Right Earbud
- Tap: Volume Up ?️
- Double Tap: Play/Pause Music ▶️⏸️
- Long Press (1 second): Next Track ⏭️
- Tap: Answer/End Call ?
- Long Press (1 second): Reject Incoming Call ?
- Triple Tap: Toggle Be Aware Mode On/Off ?
- Press (3 seconds): Power On ⚡
Equalizer (EQ) Modes
Cycle through EQ modes by triple-tapping the touch sensor on the left earbud. You will hear an audio cue for each mode:
- JLab Signature (1 beep): Enhances vocals and bass.
- Balanced (2 beeps): Even sound with no additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost (3 beeps): Enhances bass and sub-bass frequencies.
Charging the Earbuds
Place the earbuds in the charging case. They will automatically power off and begin charging. A blue light on the earbuds indicates they are charging and will turn off when fully charged.
Connect the charging case to a USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source using the provided cable.
The charging indicator on the case will flash white while charging and remain solid white when fully charged.
Fit
Use the included Cush Fins and ear tips to achieve the best seal and comfort. Insert the earbud and gently twist it into place for a secure fit.
Troubleshooting
No Sound or Earbuds Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- Delete "JLab JBuds Air Executive" from your Bluetooth device's settings.
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- Quickly tap the touch sensor on one earbud 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times. Leave the earbud in the case.
- Repeat step 3 for the other earbud.
- Remove both earbuds from the case. Keep them within approximately 5cm (2 inches) of each other. Wait until one earbud turns solid white and the other flashes blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair.
Not Connecting / Reconnecting to Bluetooth Device
- Delete "JLab JBuds Air Executive" from your Bluetooth device's settings.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again on your device.
- Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait for one to turn solid white and the other to flash blue/white.
- Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" from your device's settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case.
- Earbuds can be used individually (left or right). Simply select one and remove it from the case to connect.
- Choosing the correct ear tip size provides a proper seal, significantly improving audio quality. Test all included ear tips for best results.
- Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn it on for the device you wish to connect to.
Safety Precautions
- Avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold, or moisture.
- Do not drop the earbuds or apply excessive pressure.
- Earwax buildup on the earbud tips can degrade sound quality. Gently clean earwax using a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound.
- If you experience discomfort or pain during use, reduce the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
- If discomfort persists, stop using the product and consult a medical professional.
- Handle the earbuds with care, similar to how you would treat sunglasses. Store them in a safe place when not in use.
