General Introduction

The UR66 is a multi-pattern USB microphone designed for versatile recording applications. It features three capsules and supports four distinct polar patterns, making it suitable for various recording scenarios, from streaming to professional audio capture. With an impressive recording resolution of 96kHz/24bit, the UR66 offers high-quality audio performance. It includes a built-in headphone amplifier with a 3.5mm monitor connector, enabling zero-latency monitoring directly from the microphone. Users can adjust microphone gain and headphone volume using the control knobs on the microphone's body for an optimized recording and monitoring experience.

Installation

Follow these steps to set up your UR66 microphone:

  1. Mounting the Microphone

    Attach the microphone to a microphone stand. Loosen the thumbscrew on the mic stand, position the microphone securely, and then tighten the thumbscrew to lock it in place.

How to Use UR66

For Windows Users

  1. Use the USB cable to connect the microphone and computer.

  3. In the recording tab, select "Alctron UR66" from the list and click the "Set Default" button.
