Alctron IM600 Condenser Microphone for Drums

General Description

The IM600 is a rugged construction, high-output condenser microphone designed for drums and percussion instruments. It features an integrated preamp and a Cardioid polar pattern, providing a smooth and natural sound. This microphone is suitable for professional recording and studio recording. The balanced Cardioid polar pattern offers high gain before feedback and effectively prevents needless noise. The IM600 is designed for easy installation on drums, featuring a short gooseneck for optimum positioning and reduced stage clutter. It is ideal for drums, percussion, and other fixed applications.

How to Use the Microphone

  1. Connection

    Connect the microphone's bottom using a 3-pin XLR cable.

  2. Mounting

    Clamp the microphone securely to the drum.

  3. Positioning

    The microphone features an adjustable gooseneck, allowing for optimal positioning on the drum. This adjustability helps reduce stage clutter and ensures the best sound capture.

  • Do not subject the microphone to strong impact.
  • Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the microphone.
  • Clean only with a dry cloth.
  • When this product is used for a long time, the microphone may become discolored due to ultraviolet light (especially direct sunlight) or wear.
  • This product's materials are recyclable. If it is broken, do not discard it. Instead, keep it properly or return it to the related department.
