Fault Resolution
Status | Explanation | Resolution |
---|---|---|
AC output error icon flashes and buzzes | The output exceeds the standard and it's short-circuited. |
|
Temperature warning icon flashes and buzzes | This product has surpassed the recommended temperature limit. | Remove all loads, disconnect the power source, and allow the unit to cool down to an appropriate temperature (between -10°C to 40°C) before proceeding. |
Charging unavailable icon | Bad wire connection. | Verify the connection status of the power line and the power supply to ensure they are properly connected. |
UPS Mode
The PS1300 features a bypass function, allowing power to be drawn directly from the AC output without passing through the battery. In UPS mode, the primary power source is the grid. During a power outage, the unit automatically switches to its internal battery within 10ms to power connected appliances, protecting them.
Key points for UPS mode:
- Maximum power output in UPS mode is 1300W.
- If the AC output exceeds 1300W, the AC overload symbol will illuminate.
UPS Connections
To set up UPS functionality, connect the PS1300 between the wall socket and your electrical appliances. Ensure the PS1300 is turned ON. When appliances are powered on, they will draw power directly from the grid. If the grid power is interrupted, the PS1300 will automatically switch to its internal battery.
AC Charger Charging
The unit can be fully charged using the provided AC charger in approximately 2.5 hours. Connect the AC charger to the AC Input port.
Solar Panel Charging
The PS1300 supports solar panel charging with a maximum input of 500W and a voltage not exceeding 50V. Charging time depends on the solar panel's input. Ensure no external regulator is used, as the PS1300 has a built-in regulator.
Connecting Pattern 1
Connect the solar panel to the PS1300's XT60 input port using the included 50A Anderson to XT60 adapter.
Connecting Pattern 2
Connect multiple solar panels in series or parallel to the PS1300's XT60 input port using the included 50A Anderson to XT60 adapter, ensuring the total voltage does not exceed 50V.
Car/Vehicle Charging
Charging via a car charger is possible using the provided cable. Car chargers typically offer lower power outputs (90-120 watts), which may result in extended charging times. For faster charging, it is recommended to use the AC adapter.
