Charging Methods
AC Charging
The PS2000 can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 2 hours using the included 1100W AC charger. Connect the charger directly to a wall socket. Avoid using extension cords or connecting other high-wattage devices to the same socket, as this may trigger the circuit breaker.
Diagram Description: The PS2000 unit is shown connected via its AC Input port to an AC charger, which is plugged into a standard wall socket.
Solar Panel Charging
The unit supports a maximum solar input of 500W and a voltage not exceeding 50V. Charging time varies based on solar panel input. Ensure no regulator is in the line, as the PS2000 has a built-in regulator. Unregulated solar power should be used.
Connecting Pattern 1: The PS2000 is connected via its XT90 port to a 50A Anderson adapter, which then connects to a single solar panel.
Connecting Pattern 2: The PS2000 is connected via its XT90 port to a 50A Anderson adapter, which then connects to two separate solar panels.
Car/Vehicle Charging
Use the provided car charger for charging via a vehicle's DC outlet. Car chargers typically offer lower power outputs (90-120W), which may result in longer charging times compared to the AC charger. The AC adapter is recommended for faster charging.
Diagram Description: The PS2000 unit is shown connected via its XT90 port to a car charging cable, which is plugged into a car's DC outlet.
UPS Mode
The PS2000 features a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) bypass function. In this mode, power is supplied directly from the AC input to connected appliances, bypassing the battery. If the power grid fails, the unit automatically switches to battery power within 10 milliseconds, protecting connected appliances.
In UPS mode, the maximum power output is 2000W. If the AC output exceeds 2000W, the AC overload symbol will illuminate.
Diagram Description: The PS2000 is connected to a wall socket and to an electrical appliance (e.g., a monitor). Power flows from the wall socket through the PS2000 to the appliance. An arrow indicates power flow from the grid to the PS2000 and then to the appliance.
Fault Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve common issues:
Status | Explanation | Resolution |
---|---|---|
Above icon flashes and buzzes | The output exceeds the standard and it's short-circuited. | 1. Remove the output device. 2. Check if the overload protector is activated. If so, press the overload protection button, then the AC output button. 3. If not activated, press the AC output button to restore output. |
The temperature warning icon flashes and buzzes (High/Low Temp) | The PS2000 has surpassed the recommended temperature limit. | Remove all loads, disconnect the power source, and wait for the unit to cool down to an appropriate temperature (between -10°C to 40°C) before proceeding. |
Charging unavailable (Bad wire connection) | Bad wire connection. | Verify the connection status of the power line and the power supply to ensure they are properly connected. |
