tzumi SoundMates Wireless Stereo Earbuds

Quick Connect & Pairing

Objective: To connect your SoundMates earbuds to a device.

Note: SoundMates earbuds are pre-paired to each other.

1. Step 1: Choose the PRIMARY SOUNDMATE you intend to use for answering/ending calls.
2. Step 2: Press and hold the power button on the PRIMARY SOUNDMATE until you hear "Power On". To pair with your device, select "Tzumi SoundMates" from your device's Bluetooth list.
3. Step 3: Power on the second SOUNDMATE unit. Both earbuds are now paired and ready for use.

Bluetooth Pairing Instructions:

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your cell phone. Specific pairing procedures may vary by device. Refer to your cell phone's User Guide for details.

• Keep the distance between your cell phone and the tzumi SOUNDMATES within 3 feet for the initial pairing process.
• After a successful pairing, devices will be memorized, and no further pairing will be needed.
• If no device connection is made within 5 minutes of the earbuds being switched on, they will automatically power off to conserve battery.

Secondary Pairing Steps:

1. Activate the Bluetooth function on your pairing device and select "Tzumi SoundMates" from the displayed list.
2. After successful pairing with the PRIMARY SOUNDMATE, turn on the Secondary SOUNDMATE. You will hear "Team Successful," indicating both earbuds are paired.

Note on Switching Primary Earbud: To switch the PRIMARY SOUNDMATE, first "forget this device" from your Bluetooth menu on your phone and then repeat the Quick Connect pairing steps.

Earbud Functions (Primary SoundMate)

• Power On/Off: Press & Hold either SoundMate.
• Play/Pause: Press 1x.
• Answer Call: Press 1x.
• Reject Call: Press 2x.
• End Call: Press 2x.
• Next Song: Press 1x.

Microphone: ? Integrated microphone for calls.

Charging SoundMates & Case

Charging the Earbuds:

• Place the SoundMates into the charging case and close the lid. They will charge automatically.
• The LED light on the earbuds will turn solid BLUE while charging and turn off when charging is complete.

Charging the Case:

• Plug the provided micro-USB cable into the bottom of the case.
• The LED light on the case will flash GREEN while charging and remain solid GREEN when charging is complete.

Charging Case Battery: 500 mAh Lithium Polymer.

Case Charging Time: Up to 2 hours.
