6. Drone Flight Operation
Precautions:
- Do not place a charged battery in environments exposed to high temperatures, such as near open flames or electric heaters, as it could be damaged or explode.
- Never strike or hit the battery against a hard surface.
- Never disassemble the battery.
- Never immerse the battery in water; store it in a dry place.
- Please do not fly while charging.
6.1 Pairing
Press and hold the drone's power switch for approximately 5 seconds to turn on the drone. Turn on the remote control. With the front of the drone (the side with the camera) facing forward, place the drone on a horizontal surface. At this moment, the remote control will emit a "beep" ?, and the drone's body light will flash rapidly, automatically entering the pairing state. The body light will become solid, indicating successful pairing. ?
6.2 Gyroscope Calibration:
Once the drone is successfully connected to the remote control, you can calibrate the drone by simultaneously moving the left (throttle) and right (direction) joysticks to the bottom right corner. At this time, the drone's indicator light will flash rapidly. When the light remains solid, release the joysticks. All lights on the remote control will turn on, and calibration is complete. ?
Remark: Calibration must be performed on a horizontal surface. ?️
6.3 Geomagnetic Calibration:
Briefly press the "Geomagnetic Calibration" function until the controller emits a "beep" ?. The front and rear lights of the drone will turn off, and it will enter geomagnetic calibration mode.
- Rotate the aircraft horizontally. The front lights of the drone will illuminate (the controller will emit a "beep" ?), and horizontal calibration is successful.
- Once horizontal calibration is successful, hold the drone vertically and rotate it until the rear light of the drone illuminates (the remote control emits two beeps ??). Calibration is successful.
6.4 GPS Satellite Signal Search (GPS Mode):
If you are taking off indoors, skip this step and long-press the GPS button to turn off GPS. (As shown on the right)
If taking off outdoors: Once gyroscope and geomagnetic calibration are successful, the indicator lights will flash at a constant speed. At this moment, place the drone on an open horizontal surface until the lights illuminate (this process takes a few minutes). The drone can only take off normally after acquiring at least 8 satellites. (As shown on the right)
- Illustration: Shows the remote control screen with GPS status and satellite count.
6.5 Drone Unlock:
When the drone is controlled by the remote control, it must be unlocked to start. Press the unlock button on the remote control. Alternatively, push the left joystick of the remote control to the bottom left corner and the right joystick to the bottom right corner, then release them. At this moment, all four propellers will rotate at the same speed simultaneously, indicating that unlocking is successful. Once unlocked, the drone can be used and piloted normally.
6.6 One-Key Takeoff and Landing:
Once unlocking is complete, lightly press the "One-Key Takeoff/Landing" function button on the controller. The drone will automatically ascend to a height of approximately 2 meters and maintain a stable flight at this altitude. When you lightly press this button again, the drone will land slowly and automatically.
6.7 Automatic Obstacle Avoidance:
During flight, if the drone approaches a wall or another obstacle in front of it, the drone will stop moving in that direction. ?
Attention: ⚠️ Under sunlight or strong light, near transparent and reflective objects like glass, or near black objects, the obstacle avoidance effect will be diminished or lost.
Before taking off the drone, please follow the steps in order:
- Pairing (see 6.1)
- Gyroscope Calibration (see 6.2)
- Geomagnetic Calibration (see 6.3)
- Unlock (see 6.5)
- One-Key Takeoff and Landing (see 6.6)
- Automatic Obstacle Avoidance (see 6.7)
7. Remote Control Method
Ascend/Descend: When the left joystick (throttle) is pushed upwards, the main propeller speed increases, and the drone ascends. When pushed downwards, the main propeller speed decreases, and the drone descends.
Yaw Left/Right: When the left joystick (direction) is pushed to the left, the drone's head turns left. When pushed to the right, the drone's head turns right.
Forward/Backward: When the right joystick (direction) is pushed upwards, the drone moves forward. When pushed downwards, the drone moves backward.
Strafe Left/Right: When the right joystick (direction) is pushed to the right, the drone's body will strafe to the right. When pushed to the left, the drone's body will strafe to the left.
Ground Effect: When the drone is less than 100 cm from the ground, it will be affected by the vortex of its own propellers and become unstable. This is known as the "ground effect reaction." The lower the drone's altitude, the greater the impact of the ground effect reaction.
