S189-MAX Drone Quick Start Guide
Drone Frequency Matching with the Remote Control
- Press about 3 seconds the switch to turn on the drone, until the drone plays specific music and all indicators lights are flashing.
- Then Press and hold (about 3 seconds) the remote control button. The remote control display will light up and the red indicator light is always on.
- Wait for the remote control and the drone to be automatically linked. The drone's indicator light went from flashing to constant, indicating successful linking.

Calibrate the Drone
- Push both levers to the southeast. The drone's lights will flash rapidly.
- When the indicator light stays on, remove your hand. Calibration is complete.
Note: The drone needs to be placed on the ground.

Geomagnetic Calibration Required Before Flight
- Press the "Geomagnetic Calibration" button for 3 seconds. The remote control will emit a [beep] sound, and the drone's lights will extinguish, entering calibration mode.
- Horizontal Calibration: Pick up the drone, nose facing forward, about 50cm above the ground. Rotate it horizontally 3-5 times until the remote control prompts a [beep] sound, indicating successful calibration.
- Vertical Calibration: Pick up the drone, nose facing up, about 50cm above the ground. Rotate it vertically 3-5 times until the remote control prompts two [beep] sounds, followed by a long [beep] sound. This indicates successful calibration.

GPS Search Satellite Signal Operation
With the nose facing forward, place the drone horizontally and wait for it to search for GPS satellite signals.
When GPS signal search is complete, the remote control will emit a long [tick] sound, indicating takeoff conditions are met.
Note: If there is no [tick] sound after 10 minutes, the environment's GPS signals may be weak. Change to a better environment and repeat the steps.
Unlock the Drone for Takeoff
Press the button on the remote control or push the left lever to the southwest and the right lever to the southeast. Gently push the left joystick, and the drone will take off.

Indoor Flight Adjustments
To prepare for indoor flight, press for about 3 seconds to turn off GPS on the remote control and turn off the obstacle avoidance function on the top of the remote control.

Important Notes
- Before flying, please fully charge the battery.
- For better flight, fly in a well-lighted environment, on days without rain and with low wind.
- Remove the battery when the drone is not in use.
