Know Your Phone

The Tecno Camon i features a front camera, volume keys, and a power key.

SIM/SD Card Installation

1. Power off the mobile phone.

2. Refer to the diagram for SIM/SD card installation. The phone supports dual SIM cards and an SD card.

Charging the Phone

You can charge your device using a charger or by connecting it to a computer via a USB cable. Ensure you correctly orient the plug (front and back).

Important Notes:

• Use only TECNO chargers and cables to avoid damaging the device and voiding the warranty.
• Do not expose the phone to extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C).
• The phone automatically protects the battery in extreme temperatures.

SAR Information

The highest Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) value for this mobile phone is less than 1.6 W/Kg, in accordance with ICNIRP recommendations for radio wave exposure averaged over 1 gram of human tissue.

Safety Precautions:

• Use a wireless hands-free system (headphone, headset) with a low power Bluetooth emitter.
• Ensure the cell phone has a low SAR.
• Keep calls short or use text messages (SMS) instead, especially for children, adolescents, and pregnant women.
• Use the cell phone when the signal quality is good.
• People with active medical implants should keep the cell phone at least 15 cm away from the implant.

E-Waste, Recycle Your Phone

The WEEE logo ♻️ on the product (battery, handset, charger) indicates it should not be disposed of with household waste. Dispose of electronic or electrical waste at specified collection points for recycling.

Proper collection and recovery of electronic waste helps preserve the environment and ensures safety of human health.

Do's for Disposal of Product:

• Always drop used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials at the nearest collection point or center.
• Separate packaging material according to responsible waste disposal options and sorting for recycling.
• The battery can be easily removed from the product for recycling.

Don'ts of Disposal of Equipment:

• Never dump E-waste in garbage bins or municipal solid waste streams.
• Do not dispose of your product as unsorted municipal waste.
• Do not throw used batteries into household waste.
• Do not dispose of damaged or leaking Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries with normal household waste.

Information on Consequences of Improper Handling, Accidental Breakage, and Improper Recycling of End-of-Life Product:

• Improper disposal can cause harm to human health or the environment.
• Placing batteries or devices on or in heating devices (e.g., microwave ovens, stoves, radiators) and improper disposal may lead to explosion.
• If battery terminals are in contact with metal objects, it may cause a fire.

Battery Recommendations

1. Place the battery in a well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Charge the battery at room temperature.
2. If the battery life significantly shortens, it may be at its end. Replace the battery with a new one of the same make and specification.
3. Do not discard batteries with household trash. Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental laws and guidelines.
4. Use only manufacturer-approved batteries, chargers, accessories, and supplies. Tecno is not responsible for user safety when using unapproved items.
