Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to this promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion").

Organizer

The organizer of the Promotion is "Samsung Electronics Baltics" SIA, registration No. 40003963909, address: Duntes iela 6, Rīga, LV-1013, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

Promotion Duration and Country of Operation

The Promotion runs from June 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period").

The Promotion is valid in Latvia.

The Promotion is valid in the Organizer's online store: www.samsung.com/lv/ (hereinafter referred to as the "Store").

Participants

The Promotion is intended for individuals only.

Individuals under 18 years of age may participate only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

General Promotion Terms

The promotional products are Samsung TV and sound system models listed in Appendix 1 of these Terms and Conditions, available for purchase in the Store (hereinafter referred to as "Promotional Product").

The promotional offer is valid only for Promotional Products distributed by the Organizer and sold in the Store. Purchasers must verify that their chosen products are available in the Store and are eligible for the Promotion at the time of purchase.

To participate, participants must hand over their old TV or sound system and provide its serial and model number when applying for the Promotion at: www.samsung.com/lv/ce-trade-up/.

Participants can trade in plasma, LCD, OLED, QLED, or equivalent TV models, or home sound systems, soundbars, or home cinema systems, regardless of their year of manufacture, brand, condition, or other similar factors. Cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions and Digital Light Processing (DLP) projectors cannot be used as trade-in devices.

Upon applying for the Promotion and agreeing to hand over the old TV or sound system for disposal, participants are entitled to receive a discount coupon of up to EUR 500 for the purchase of a Promotional Product (hereinafter referred to as the "Discount").

The Discount can only be used for the purchase of Organizer's Promotional Products in the Store.

The amount of the Discount is determined by the chosen Promotional Product and according to Appendix 1 of these Terms and Conditions.

The discount code will be sent to the participant via the online chat on the website mentioned in point 9 or to the participant's email provided during registration. The Discount is valid only within the Promotion Period; after the promotion ends, the Discount will expire.

The Discount is non-transferable and is intended solely for the personal use of the participant who registered for the Promotion. It cannot be transferred, sold, or used by a third party.

Terms for Transporting Trade-In Products

Participants are responsible for carefully packaging their old TV or sound system securely to prevent parts or components from falling out or causing damage to third-party property during transport. Participants must ensure adequate protection of the old device to minimize any risk during transport.

The transport of the participant's old television and the delivery of the Promotional Product will be carried out by SIA "DPD Latvija", registration No. 40003393255, legal address: Uriekstes 8a, Rīga, LV-1005, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the "Partner").

The delivery of the Promotional Product and the transport of the old TV will be carried out simultaneously or separately by the same Partner.

Upon the Partner's request, participants must assist the Partner's courier in carefully packaging and loading the old TV or sound system onto the delivery transport. Participants must cooperate according to the Partner's courier's instructions to facilitate the loading process.

The costs for the delivery of the Promotional Product and the transport of the old TV or sound system are covered by the Organizer.

Other Terms

The benefits granted within this Promotion cannot be combined with other campaigns and promotions from the Organizer, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the respective terms.

This Promotion is not considered an exchange offer provided by the Organizer. The value of the old TV will not be individually determined, and participants will only receive the Discount specified in Appendix 1 of these Terms and Conditions.

The Promotion is intended for online sales participants only and is not associated with products purchased for resale purposes.

The general terms of sale of the Store apply to the purchase of Promotional Products, except where explicitly stated otherwise in these Terms and Conditions.

If a participant chooses to return a Promotional Product to the Store and withdraw from the purchase agreement in accordance with applicable legal requirements, the participant acknowledges and agrees that they will not be entitled to receive back the old TV that was handed over for disposal according to these Terms and Conditions. If the participant exercises their right of withdrawal, the Organizer will only refund the purchase price of the Promotional Product, excluding the Discount.

Participants are not entitled to use the Promotion benefits if it is determined that the participant has not complied with the Terms and Conditions or has acted dishonestly or fraudulently in using this or any other Promotion organized by the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions or terminate their validity at any time without prior notice, provided that the changes are made reasonably and in accordance with the requirements of applicable legal acts.

The Organizer is not responsible for the suspension of the Promotion due to force majeure, international and national sanctions, or other circumstances beyond the Organizer's control.

The participant agrees that the Organizer is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred in connection with the Promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The execution of the Promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes related to the Promotion will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.

The choice of applicable law and jurisdiction does not deprive the participant of the protection afforded by provisions from which, according to Regulation 593/2008 and Regulation 1215/2012, deviation by agreement is not permitted.
