2. Requirements

4. Getting Started
Charging the Headset
Step 1: Connect the USB Type-C cable to the headset and the USB Type-A end to your device.
Step 2: Monitor the charging status via the LED indicator:

For best results, connect the Razer BlackShark V3 directly to a USB port on your computer using the included cable. A depleted battery will take approximately 4 hours to fully charge.
Powering the Headset On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the headset on or off.
- On: Solid green light (2 seconds)
- Off: Solid red light (1 second)
Connecting to Your Device
Wired Mode
Connect the headset using the USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.
2.4GHz Mode
Step 1: Turn on the headset by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will turn solid green.
Step 2: Connect the Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless Dongle to a USB Type-A port on your device. The LED indicator on the dongle will flash green while connecting and turn solid green when connected.
You can customize the LED indicator via Razer Synapse to show connection status, battery status, or low battery warnings.
Bluetooth® Mode
Step 1: Turn on the headset by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will turn solid green.
Step 2: Press the power button twice to enter pairing mode. The indicator light will flash blue.
Step 3: On your Bluetooth device, search for "BlackShark V3 BT" and connect.
Step 4: The indicator light will turn solid blue when paired.
If pairing times out, the headset will turn off. Follow the previous steps to restart pairing.
Re-activating Bluetooth Pairing Mode
Step 1: Turn on the headset by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds.
Step 2: Press and hold the ANC button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
Step 3: On your Bluetooth device, search for "BlackShark V3 BT" and connect.
Step 4: The indicator light will turn solid blue when paired.
Connecting to Mobile Devices: Download the Razer Audio app to customize EQ settings, auto-off timers, game modes, and more.

Pairing with Both Wireless Modes
Step 1: Download the mobile application and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: Open the application and follow the on-screen instructions.
Use Razer Audio app when your headset is connected via Bluetooth to your mobile device.
Switching Wireless Modes
Press the SmartSwitch toggle twice to cycle through the modes:
- 2.4GHz Mode
- BT Mode
- Syc Audio Mode
5. Using the Razer BlackShark V3
Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic
Attaching the Microphone:
Insert the microphone into the microphone port.
Correct Microphone Placement:
Position the microphone 2.54 cm (1 inch) from your mouth. Ensure the microphone diaphragm is facing your mouth and the vent hole is facing away from your mouth. Do not place the microphone too close to your mouth.
Muting/Unmuting the Microphone:
Press the mute switch on the headset to mute or unmute the microphone.
Adjusting Volume
Rotate the volume control dial to increase or decrease the volume.
Changing EQ Presets
Press the SmartSwitch toggle once to cycle through the EQ presets:
- Default
- Game
- Movie
- Music
- Esports 1
*Can be customized to other functions via Razer Synapse or Razer Audio app.
Adjusting Game/Chat Balance
Rotate the game/chat balance dial to prioritize game audio or chat audio.
- Rotate clockwise to increase game volume and decrease chat volume.
- Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease game volume and increase chat volume.
The dial can be customized to other functions via Razer Synapse or Razer Audio app.

7. Customizing Your Razer Headset
Disclaimer: This guide covers the new Razer Synapse application and may only cover certain features of your device. Razer Synapse requires an internet connection for installation, updates, and cloud-based features. Registering for a Razer ID is recommended but not mandatory. Feature availability may vary across different versions, connected devices, and supported add-ons.
SYNAPSE
When you first launch Razer Synapse, the “Synapse” tab will be the default. Use the following buttons to navigate the user interface:
- Minimize: Minimizes the application to the system tray.
- Maximize: Expands the window to fill the screen. Click again to restore the original size.
- Close (×): Closes all related tabs and terminates the application.
- Previous Tab (<): Returns to the previously viewed tab.
- Next Tab (>): Navigates to the next tab if you recently used “Previous Tab”.
- Refresh Tab (?): Reloads the current page. Use this if the page displays incorrectly or you want to see the latest content.
- Download Updates: Appears if there are changes to the application. Use this to update the software.
More
This button opens a window to access “Devices,” “Modules,” and “Other Installed Apps” tabs.
Settings (⚙️)
This button opens the “Settings” tab for quick configuration of the application’s settings.
Profile
This button opens a pop-up window to access options like “Sign In,” “Feedback,” “Rate this software,” “Add Wi-Fi Device,” and “Sign Out.”
Information (?)
Hovering over this button displays additional information about a feature or function.
Dashboard
The “Dashboard” sub-tab is the central control panel for Razer Synapse, where you can access all your Razer devices, modules, and online services.
Gamer Room
The “Gamer Room” tab displays all devices with Razer Chroma lighting capabilities. You can view and manage supported devices here.
Synapse Overlays
This section allows you to select and customize lighting effects for your devices, and use Razer Synapse to make devices respond to Chroma-enabled games and Chroma Connect applications.
GAMER ROOM Application Control
This section displays all devices remotely controlled by the Gamer Room application.
Devices and Modules
The “Modules” sub-tab lists all installed and available modules.
Macro
Assign actions or Razer Synapse functions to custom key combinations that support any Razer Synapse-enabled device input, and apply them to all device profiles.
Settings
General
In the “General” sub-tab, you can access other application options and find more information about the software.
- Language: Allows you to change the display language of Razer Synapse.
- Auto-start: Configure the application’s startup behavior.
- Recommendations: The “Recommendations” feature suggests the latest products and features on your dashboard based on your installed devices and associated games.
- Device Lighting: Choose which application controls the lighting effects on your devices.
- Notifications: Allows the application to display on-screen notifications, even when running full-screen applications.
Tutorial Reset
Select the “Reset” button to reactivate all tutorials that help you get familiar with Razer Synapse features.
About
The “About” section displays the current software version, copyright notice, and provides links to Razer’s terms of use. You can also quickly access Razer’s social communities here.
Feedback
Help improve the software by providing your opinions, suggestions, and questions about Razer Synapse. You can contact us directly through this tab or even get rewarded for reporting bugs.
Audio Settings
Microphone
The “Microphone” sub-tab allows you to adjust all microphone output audio settings.
- Microphone Boost: Enhance microphone input quality by enabling and adjusting features like Volume Normalization, Bright Voice, Microphone Noise Reduction, and Noise Gate.
- Microphone Equalizer: Select from a range of microphone equalizer presets or manually adjust them to “Custom.”
- Microphone Monitoring (Sidetone): Toggle this setting to directly listen to your microphone's audio through the headset and adjust the monitoring volume as needed.
Enhancements
The “Enhancements” sub-tab customizes your audio system's input audio settings and frequency response.
- Sound Normalization: Reduces loudness variations.
- Vocal Clarity: Enhances vocal frequencies.
- Microphone Noise Reduction: Suppresses ambient noise.
- Noise Gate: Adjusts microphone input sensitivity.
Audio Mixer
Adjust microphone volume or mute the microphone by toggling the switch. You can also activate the microphone test to check your microphone's input audio strength.
Power
For wireless devices, the “Power” tab allows you to manage the device's power consumption during use.
- LED Indicator: Customize the information conveyed by the LED indicator on the receiver. Options include Connection Status, Battery Status, and Battery Alert Only.
- Wireless Power Saving: Configure the device to turn off after a period of inactivity.
Demo
You can view all customization and enhancement features in the “Demo” tab.
Stereo / THX Spatial Audio
Switch between stereo sound and THX Spatial Audio.
Linked Games
The “Linked Games” tab allows you to add applications, view peripherals associated with applications, and search for games in the list.
Games
Use the “Games” sub-tab to link applications to peripherals. You can sort applications by alphabetical order, recently played, or most played. Applications will be listed here even if they are not linked to a Razer device. To add applications not listed on the screen, use the “Add” button (+) to manually search, or use the “Scan” button (?) to automatically scan. Click the “Search” button (?) to find specific games or programs from the list.
Devices
The “Devices” sub-tab allows you to view peripherals and identify associated applications. By selecting a device, you can view a list of linked applications, add new applications, or remove linked applications. You can filter these applications using the “View” and “Sort” dropdown lists. To add applications not listed on the peripheral, drag and drop the executable file into the box, or use the “Add” button (+) to open a search window. In the search window, you can click the “Refresh” button (?) to rescan installed applications, click the “Search” button (?) to find specific games or programs from the list, or click the “Browse” link to manually search for applications.
Settings
Click the (⚙️) button to enter the “Settings” tab, where you can configure various options:
- Synapse Cloud: Find application-specific options here.
- Language: Change the display language of Razer Synapse.
- Auto-start: Configure the application’s startup behavior.
- Recommendations: The “Recommendations” feature suggests the latest products and features on your dashboard based on your installed devices and associated games.

7. Safety and Maintenance
Safety Guidelines
To ensure maximum safety while using your Razer BlackShark V3 雷蛇旋风黑鲨 V3, we recommend following these guidelines:
- If your device malfunctions and you cannot troubleshoot it, unplug the device and contact Razer support or visit support.razer.com/cn for technical assistance.
- Do not disassemble the device (this will void your warranty) and do not use it under abnormal current loads.
- Keep the device away from liquids and humid environments. Use the device only in environments with temperatures between 0°C and 40°C. If the temperature exceeds this range, unplug or turn off the device to allow it to stabilize.
- We recommend gently stretching the headband before wearing it to minimize pressure on the headband. However, do not overstretch it beyond its technical limits.
- Even at low volume levels, this device can isolate you from your surroundings, reducing your awareness of the environment. If you are involved in activities that require full awareness of your surroundings, please remove the device.
- Listening at excessively high volume levels for prolonged periods can damage your hearing. Some countries/regions have a legal maximum sound level of 86 decibels, which affects your hearing if exposed for 8 hours daily. Therefore, we recommend lowering the volume to a comfortable level when using this device. Protect your hearing.
Maintenance and Care
The Razer BlackShark V3 requires minimal maintenance to maintain peak performance. We recommend cleaning it monthly with a soft cloth or cotton swabs to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
