7. Safety and Maintenance

Safety Precautions

For maximum safety when using the Razer BlackShark V3 For Playstation, follow these guidelines:

  • If you encounter issues not resolved by recommended actions, disconnect the device and contact Razer support via support.razer.com.
  • Do not disassemble the device, as this will void the warranty. Do not use the device with non-standard current loads.
  • Keep the device away from liquids, humidity, or damp environments.
  • Use the device only within the permitted temperature range: 0°C to 40°C. If the temperature exceeds this range, turn off or disconnect the device and wait for it to return to a safe level.
  • Gently stretch the earcups outwards before wearing the headset to reduce stress on the construction. Avoid overstretching.
  • The headset isolates external sounds even at low volumes, reducing awareness of your surroundings. Do not use it during activities where you need to hear and react to environmental sounds.
  • Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can damage your hearing. Many regions have regulations limiting sound pressure levels to 86 dB over 8 hours. It is recommended to lower the volume to a comfortable level, especially during extended listening sessions. Protect your hearing.
