Safety Precautions
- Read this manual carefully before using the appliance and save it for future reference.
- Before the first use, check the device specifications and the power supply in your network. It is not intended for industrial use. For indoor use only. Use only for domestic purposes according to the instruction manual. Do not use with damaged cord, plug or other injuries. Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
- Do not pull the cord. Always take the socket. Do not reel the cord around the device housing. Never attempt to frame and repair the appliance by yourself. If you meet problems, please contact the nearest customer service center. Using accessories or replacement parts that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance.
- Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning and removing parts. Keep unplugged when not in use. To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse in water or other liquids. If this occurs, immediately unplug it and contact service center for inspection. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Do not touch running parts of the fan. Keep foreign objects away from running parts and grille. Do not block air inlets on the motor block. Do not use the fan without protective grilles.
- The use of optional accessories not recommended may be dangerous or cause damage to the device.
- A common cause of overheating is the accumulation of dust or fluff on the device.
Assembly
- Remove the unit and all the parts from giftbox, put them on the floor.
- Combine the upper and lower half circle base according the following guide arrow, then fix them by provided plastic nut.
Using the Device
Control Panel Buttons
- POWER: Press the ON/OFF button, the appliance will start working; Press it again, the appliance will be turned off.
- SPEED: When the appliance is working, press the Speed button to select desired fan speed Low-Medium-High in turn. The display will indicate the corresponding fan speed.
- TIMER: This appliance is equipped with a 12 hours timer. Press Timer button, it can be set from 1 hour to 12 hours (The time period is increased in steps of 1 hour), the display will indicate the corresponding set time, the appliance will stop automatically after the set time has expired.
- SWING: Press Swing button, the appliance will oscillate automatically for wide spread air distribution; press the Swing button again, the appliance will stop oscillation.
- MODE: Press the MODE button on the remote control, you can select 3 wind modes; normal, natural & sleep mode.
- ANION: Press Anion button, the appliance will start the Anion function to purify the air; press the Anion button again, the appliance will stop Anion function.
- COOL: Once you select your fan speed, press the Cool button, this will begin the water circulation and begin the cooling/humidifying/air purifying process.
Cooling/Humidifying/Air Purifying Mode
- Turn the lock lever of water tank to a horizontal position, carefully pull out the water tank.
- Fill the water tank with fresh water.
- Check the water level carefully, stop filling when the water level reaches the ‘MAX' mark.
- DO NOT overfill the water tank otherwise permanent damage may occur to the appliance.
- Check the water level during use to ensure that it does not fall below the 'MIN' mark and top up if necessary.
- To enhance the cooling function, fill the Ice Bottles, replace the top and freeze them in the freezer. Once frozen, place one ice bottle into water tank to cool the water further. Two ice bottles are supplied so that one can be in water tank cooling the water whilst the other is being frozen and then swapped over when the one in the water tank has defrosted. Ice box can store cool and slowly absorb the heating from water while ice boxes can make the temperature of water in the water tank less than it of the surrounding, so air cooler with frozen ice boxes can blow the cooler wind.
- NOTICE: please take and put the ice boxes lightly, in order not to hurt the water recycling cooling system.
- NOTICE: do not eat ice crystals in the box, and do not use the ice crystal box as a toy for children to prevent accidental ingestion.
- Press the Cool Button and press the Fan Speed Button to select either the high, medium, or low fan speed.
- DO NOT operate in the Cool mode without water in the internal water tank otherwise permanent damage may occur to the unit.
Remote Control
- You can operate the fan by remote control.
- The remote control uses 2xAAA battery (not included).
- NOTE: the remote control must be pointed towards the receiver on the unit.
- Please take out the battery for long time no use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Emptying the water tank: First turn off and unplug the unit. Place the unit either outside near a drain or alternatively on the sink drainer. Turn the lock lever of water tank to a horizontal position, then carefully pull out the water tank. You can tilt the unit at several angles to make sure all water is drained out from the unit. When all the water is drained out you can put back the water tank and turn the lock lever of water tank back to a vertical position to secure the water tank. Take care not to tilt the unit over when full of water.
- Cleaning the unit: First turn off and unplug the unit. Wipe the unit housing with a neutral cleaner and a damp soft cloth. Use a dry cloth to dry off the unit. Make sure unit is fully dry before using the unit. Important: When cleaning the unit, the client must pull off the plug and cut off the power while any part of control panel cannot be into water.
- Cleaning the cooling pad: Remove the cooling pad from the rear cover. Wash the cooling Pad in clean, fresh water; carefully remove any debris using a soft brush. Dry it thoroughly before replacing. Once the cooling pad is dry, replace it inside the rear cover. Ensure that cooling pad is the correct way up. Replace the filter assembly into the rear of the unit. DO NOT use the appliance without the filter assembly in place. When cleaning the appliance, the client must pull off the plug and cut off the power while any part of control panel cannot be into water.
Storage and Transportation
- Ensure the unit is turned off and completely cool. Before storing the unit, follow all instructions in the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section.
- Storage conditions: store at positive temperature and humidity not exceeding 80%. Storage period is unlimited. Ensure the packaging is protected during transportation.
