BERGVATTNET
IKEA's Water-Saving Bathroom Collection
A Bathroom as Always, Yet a Little Different
We are all completely dependent on the constantly shrinking resources of fresh water. That's why IKEA strives to reduce its consumption at every stage of our operations, from sourcing materials and producing our range to how the finished articles are used in homes.
The BERGVATTNET collection is a prime example of this – functional, joyful, and water-saving all at once.
BERGVATTNET in a Wider Perspective
Water availability and quality are increasingly serious challenges for the entire world. Currently, four out of ten people visiting IKEA stores live in regions affected by water scarcity. As IKEA, we are committed to taking initiatives to limit the consumption of its resources, including through our products – such as those in the BERGVATTNET collection. We also aim to improve water quality and prioritize actions that ensure access to clean water for communities around the world.

A Different Story of the Ordinary Shower
The BERGVATTNET collection was developed with the aim of reducing water flow, monitoring its usage, and collecting excess water so it doesn't go to waste down the drain. These simple and affordable products can make saving water a natural part of everyday life. And in the meantime, you can continue doing your thing.
Water Doesn't Have to Be Wasted
Few people enjoy waiting for the shower water to warm up, right? Now you can easily save precious drops of cold water for later. The BERGVATTNET switch automatically directs water at a temperature below 32°C to a bucket and activates the shower head once the water has warmed up. You can use the saved water for watering thirsty plants, flushing the toilet, or cleaning floors.
