Troubleshooting
No Sound
- Verify all cable connections are secure.
- Confirm the correct audio source (Optical, AUX, USB) is selected on the Audikast Plus.
- Check that 'Avantree Audikast Plus' is selected as the audio output on your TV or PC.
- Ensure the volume is adequately turned up on both the Audikast Plus and your Bluetooth device.
- For Optical connections, confirm your TV's audio output is set to PCM.
- For AUX/RCA connections, ensure your TV's audio output is set to 'Fixed' or 'Non-Variable'.
Cannot Pair
- Make sure both the Audikast Plus and your Bluetooth device are in pairing mode.
- Temporarily disable other nearby Bluetooth devices that might cause interference.
- To reset the Audikast Plus, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue alternately. Then, attempt to re-pair.
Audio Lag/Delay
- For the lowest latency, ensure both the Audikast Plus and your Bluetooth headphones/speakers support the aptX Low Latency (aptX LL) codec. If either device does not support aptX LL, a standard codec like aptX or SBC will be used, which may result in noticeable delay.
