Weight Restrictions
Weight Capacity: 4.4-19.8 lbs. (2-9 kg)
Your monitor (including accessories) CANNOT EXCEED 4.4-19.8 lbs (2-9 kg).
⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT exceed the maximum weight indicated. This mounting system is intended for use only within the maximum weights indicated. Use with products heavier than the maximum weights indicated may result in failure of the mount and its accessories, causing possible damage and/or injury. If your monitor weighs more, this mount is NOT compatible.
VESA Compatibility
VESA Patterns:
Maximum VESA pattern: 100x100 mm (4x4 in.)
Minimum VESA pattern: 75x75 mm (3x3 in.)
If your Monitor VESA is greater than 100x100 mm/4x4 in. or less than VESA 75x75mm/3x3in., this mount is NOT compatible.
If this desk mount is NOT compatible, please contact customer service at support@ergear.com to find a compatible product.
Product Features
The monitor desk mount features a dual-arm design with articulation points allowing for extensive adjustability. Key features include:
- 360° rotation at the pole base.
- 360° rotation at the arm pivot point.
- 180° tilt adjustment at the monitor plate.
- Vertical adjustment range indicated by a double-headed arrow.
Mounting options include C-Clamp Mounting and Grommet Mounting.
Tension Adjustment
IMPORTANT: TENSION ADJUSTMENT SHOULD BE DONE ONLY AFTER MOUNT INSTALLATION.
Do not adjust tension without monitor.
- Ensure the monitor has been attached to the mount.
- Read your monitor box or manual to find out the monitor's net weight.
- Ensure the net weight of the monitor (including accessories) is between 4.4~19.8 lbs (2-9 kg).
Adjustment Mechanism:
Use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen Key (F).
Clockwise rotation reduces tension (for lighter loads).
Counter-clockwise rotation increases tension (for heavier loads).
(1 rotation ≈ 1 lb adjustment)
⚠️ Be sure to keep the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment. Failure to do so may make adjustment difficult or potentially damage the mount.

Step 1: Install the Base
A. For Clamp Mounting
A-1 Install the C-Clamp
⚠️ Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
1. Detach the c-clamp entirely.
2. Connect part [X] to pole assembly [03] using 5/32 in. (4mm) Allen Key [F].
3. Connect part [Y] to part [X] according to the thickness of the desktop (two options provided: "The first choice" and "The second choice").
4. Secure the base to the desktop by tightening the clamp.
B. For Grommet Mounting
1. Install the grommet bolt [D] through the desk hole (hole diameter: ⌀0.4-0.8 in. / 10-20mm).
⚠️ Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
2. Secure the base to the desktop using the locking plate [E] and butterfly nut [D].
⚠️ Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
Step 2: Install the Arms
1. Slide the cable clip [05] onto the pole assembly [03].
2. Slide arm [01] onto the pole assembly [03].
3. Secure the arm [01] to the pole assembly [03] by tightening the pre-assembled bolts on the arms [01] using the 5/32 in. (4mm) Allen Key [F].
⚠️ Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
Step 3: Attach Monitors to the Arms
3-1 Choose Proper Bolts
For Flat Back Monitors: Use bolts appropriate for 100x100mm or 75x75mm VESA patterns (labeled 'A').
For Round Back Monitors: Use bolts appropriate for 100x100mm or 75x75mm VESA patterns (labeled 'B-1', 'B-2').
3-2 Install Monitors to the Arms
Attach monitors to the arms using the selected bolts. Ensure approximately 0.1-0.2 in. (3-5mm) spacing is left between the monitor and the arm plate.
Tools required: Screwdriver (Not Included).
The tension is preset at 8.8~11 lbs (4-5kg). After hanging the monitor, release it slowly to prevent sudden falling.
Step 4: Adjust Gas Spring Tension
⚠️ Be sure to keep the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment. Failure to do so may make adjustment difficult or potentially damage the mount.
- If the monitor stays at the desired height by itself, no adjustment is needed.
- If the monitor rises up: Press the arm to keep it horizontal. Use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen Key (F) to turn the bolts clockwise ("-" direction) to reduce tension until the monitor stays at the desired height.
- If the monitor falls down: Lift the arm to keep it horizontal. Use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen Key (F) to turn the bolts counter-clockwise ("+" direction) to increase tension until the monitor stays at the desired height.
Step 5: Rotation Restriction
Proper Usage Directions: The mount allows for specific rotation angles as indicated.
Non-Proper Usage Directions: Avoid exceeding the recommended rotation limits, indicated with a ❌ symbol.
Step 6: Tilt Adjustment
Use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen Key (F) for tilt adjustment.
"+" Clockwise: Tighten (increase resistance).
"-" Counter-clockwise: Loosen (decrease resistance).
Situation 1: If the monitor can stay at the desired tilt angle by itself, no adjustment is needed.
Situation 2: If the monitor cannot stay at the desired tilt angle, turn the bolts clockwise or counter-clockwise as shown until the monitor stays at the desired tilt angle.
Step 7: Rotation Adjustment
Allows for 360° rotation.
This feature is only suitable for monitors with the center of gravity positioned in the center.
Step 8: Route Cables along the Arms
Tools required: Screwdriver (Not Included).
1. Secure the Cable Cover [04] to the arm [01] by tightening the bolts [G] using a screwdriver.
2. Loosen the pre-assembled bolts [S] on the arm [01] to detach the cable guide from the arm [01]. Keep the bolt [S] for the next step.
3. Route the cables into the cable guide and secure the cable guide by tightening the bolts [S] using a screwdriver.
4. Put the cables into the cable clip [05].
