Curved back monitor: Diagrams show VESA patterns 100x100mm and 75x75mm. Bolts B-1 and B-2 are indicated for these.
VESA pattern dimensions: 75 mm ≈ 3 in., 100 mm ≈ 4 in.
4-2 Install Monitors to the Arms
- Ensure 0.1-0.2in. (3-5mm) spacing is left between the monitor and the plate.
- Diagram shows the monitor being attached to the monitor plate using the selected bolts. A screwdriver is shown, noted as "[Not Included]".
The tension is preset at 8.8-11 LBS (4-5kg). After hanging the monitor to the mount, please release the monitor slowly to prevent it from falling suddenly.
5. Adjust Gas Spring Tension
Be sure to keep the arm in horizontal position during adjustment. Or else, it would be difficult to adjust the mount or damage the mount.
- If the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself, no adjustment is needed.
- If the monitor rises up, press the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen key (E) to turn the bolt clockwise ("-" direction) to reduce tension until the monitor stays at the desired height.
- If the monitor falls down, lift the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen key (E) to turn the bolt counter-clockwise ("+" direction) to increase tension until the monitor stays at the desired height.
Diagrams illustrate the tension adjustment using Allen key [E] with "+" and "-" indicators. (1 rotation ≈ 1 lb adjustment).
6. Rotation Restriction
Non-proper usage directions: Diagrams show arm positions that may cause strain or damage.
Proper usage directions: Diagrams show recommended arm positions for safe and effective use.
7. Tilt Adjustment
Adjust the monitor to the proper tilt angle, using Allen key [E] to tighten the bolt and fix the tilt angle.
