Operating Instructions
- Warning: Turn off and disconnect all appliances inside the aquarium before installation or maintenance.
- Check the voltage on the heater label to ensure it matches your main power supply.
- Attach the suction cups to the heater.
- Place the heater in the aquarium where there is good water circulation, preferably near a water movement source for proper distribution of heated water.
- DO NOT PLUG THE HEATER INTO THE MAIN SUPPLY UNIT UNTIL IT IS IN WATER.
- Ensure the heater remains submerged at all times.
- To select the correct wattage, consider the aquarium's capacity, room temperature, and desired temperature increase (indicated as Tº in Table 1).
The LED on the heater indicates its status:
- LED ON: Heater in operation
- LED OFF: Thermal protection activated
The JOLLY heater increases water temperature according to Table 1, up to a maximum of +4°C / 40°F. When removed from water or when the set temperature is reached, thermal protection will automatically switch it off after a few minutes. For safety, regularly check water temperature with a precise thermometer.
Unplug the heater and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before removing it from the water.
Maintenance
The heater requires minimal maintenance, only periodic cleaning of the tube to remove salt incrustations and algae. Use only water and vinegar for cleaning. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or acids.
Attention: Do not disassemble the heater or pull the power supply cable.
