2. Registration

For the Android/iOS application, click 'Register now', create a username and password to complete registration. Alternatively, accept third-party account authentication (no need to register).

3. Adding Cameras to Your Network

Note: If adding the camera via 'Scan QR Code' fails, choose the second method from 'Others' to add the camera.

3.1 Scan QR Code

Please power on the camera and wait for it to restart (approximately 30 seconds). The camera will announce 'Please use the app for Wi-Fi configuration' or 'Wi-Fi configuration is waiting'. If the camera does not provide any announcement, please reset the camera to factory default settings by holding the reset button for 10 seconds. It will then announce 'Reset completed, the device will restart soon'.

[Image Description: An illustration shows a VSTARCAM camera and a Wi-Fi router. Text overlay on the camera image indicates "WiFi configuration is waiting". Text overlay on the router image shows network cable connections. A red warning text overlay says "Please do not connect the network cable".]

Once the camera announces 'Please use the app for Wi-Fi configuration', click the 'Heard voice prompt' button. Enter the Wi-Fi network password your mobile phone is connected to, then click 'Confirm' to proceed.

During configuration, keep the phone and camera within 2 meters. Maximize your mobile phone's volume. Click the 'Send' button in the app to send the configuration signal to the camera.

After the camera announces 'Wireless configuration successful', wait approximately 10 seconds. The app will display the 'Add a camera' page. Click it to complete the addition.

Note: Place the phone close to the camera and set the phone's volume to maximum.

Note: During this process, if the Wi-Fi configuration is reported as successful but the linking page does not appear, please return to the 'Add camera' page and select 'Others' → 'IP Camera' → 'Search in LAN' or 'Add manually' to link the camera.
