Headphone Diagram
The diagram shows a pair of headphones with the following numbered parts:
- 1. Volume Up/Previous Song: Controls volume or skips to the previous track.
- 2. Power ON/OFF / Multi-function Button: Used for power, calls (answer, redial, hang up), and music (play/pause).
- 3. Volume Down/Next Song: Controls volume or skips to the next track.
- 4. Indicator Light: Shows charging status.
- 5. Charging Port: Where the charging cable connects.
- 6. Line-in: For wired connection.
- 7. Built-in Microphone: For calls.
Headphone Controls
Making and Receiving Calls
You can use your headphones in various ways for handling calls:
- Answer a call: Press the multi-function button (2) during an incoming call.
- End a call: Press the multi-function button (2) during a call.
- Redial last number: Press the multi-function button (2) twice.
Music Controls
- Play music: Press the multi-function button (2).
- Pause/resume music: Press the multi-function button (2).
- Go to next song: Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Song button (3).
- Go to previous song: Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Song button (1).
- Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the multi-function button (2).
Changing the Volume
When needed, adjust the volume by pressing the '+' (up) or '-' (down) buttons (1 and 3) during a call or when listening to music.
Charging the Headphones
These headphones have an internal rechargeable battery. The battery must be fully charged prior to use. Charging time is approximately 3 hours. Your headphones cannot be used while charging.
Charging Status:
- Red Light ON – Charging
- Blue Light ON - Fully charged
Pairing the Headphones to a Bluetooth Device
Make sure Bluetooth functionality is available on your smartphone. Specific pairing procedures will be different depending on different smartphones. For more detailed information, please refer to your smartphone's Help and/or User Guide.
Important Notes:
- If no device connection is made within 5 minutes of the headphones being switched on, the headphones will automatically be turned off to save power.
- After a successful pairing, the devices will memorize and/or save each other's information. Therefore, there will be no need to pair a second time.
Pairing Steps:
- Keep the distance between the smartphone and the headphones within 3 feet (for pairing only).
- Press the multifunction button (2) for two seconds and the headphones will turn on. You'll hear a 'Power ON' prompt and the blue light will turn on.
- The device will automatically go into pairing mode; you'll hear a 'Pairing' prompt as the blue and red lights alternately flash.
- Activate the Bluetooth function of the smartphone and search for Bluetooth devices. Select "Tzumi-Headphones" in the device list that is displayed.
- On some devices, you may need to press "Yes" or "Enter" to confirm the pairing.
- After a successful connection, the blue light on the headphones will flash every few seconds.
