Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attaching Headboard Legs
Follow the illustration: Insert Allen bolts (1) into the pre-drilled holes to connect the headboard legs (B/C) to the headboard panel (A). Use hardware packed in Box #1 for this step. The diagram shows the left (B) and right (C) headboard legs attaching to the headboard panel (A) using bolts (1) and washers (2).
Step 2: Attaching Left Siderail
Fix the left siderail (E) to the headboard assembly (A/B/C) using Phillips head bolts (1) and washers (2). Do not tighten bolts completely until assembly is completed. The diagram shows the left siderail (E) connecting to the headboard panel (A) and leg (B) using bolts (1) and washers (2).
Step 3: Connecting Left Siderail to Footboard
Align metal pin (3) into the pre-drilled hole on the other end of the left siderail (E) and the footboard (D). Fix the other end of the left siderail (E) to the footboard (D) using Phillips head bolts (1) and washer (2). The diagram shows the left siderail (E) connecting to the footboard (D) via metal pins (3) and bolts (1) with washers (2).
Step 4: Attaching Right Siderail
Repeat the same process to fix the right siderail (F) to the headboard assembly (A/B/C) and footboard (D). The diagram illustrates the right siderail (F) attaching to the headboard assembly and footboard.
Step 5: Installing Center Slat and Legs
Arrange the center slat (G) with the T-nut facing the floor. Slide Allen bolts (5) from the top of the center slat (G) into the 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 9th pre-drilled holes. Fix the center legs (H) to the center slat (G) using Allen bolts (5) and the Allen key (6). The diagram shows the center slat (G) with T-nuts, center legs (H) attached using bolts (5) and key (6).
Step 6: Attaching Bed Slats
Spread the bed slats (I) on the bed frame. Fix the 1st, 6th, 7th, and 12th bed slats to the bed frame using wood screws (4). Use the pilot holes on the siderails (E/F) as a reference for correct placement. The diagram shows bed slats (I) being placed on the frame and secured with screws (4).
Step 7: Securing Bed Slats to Center Slat
Slide the center slat (G) under the bed slats (I). Slide Allen bolts (5) from the top of the bed slats (I) through the pre-drilled holes on the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th, and 12th bed slats. Tighten Allen bolts (5) with the Allen key (6) to secure the bed slats (I) to the center slat (G). The diagram shows Allen bolts (5) connecting the bed slats (I) to the center slat (G).
Instructions for Adjusting Levelers
Position the bed in your room. Locate the levelers under each center leg.
Turn counter-clockwise to extend, clockwise to contract.
Adjust levelers until each leg is applying equal upward pressure on the center slat. The diagram shows the base of the bed legs with adjustable levelers.
Maintenance Instructions
- Remove box spring and mattress before moving your bed.
- Lift your bed when moving it. Dragging can damage the center support.
- Readjust levelers after moving your bed.
