Tool Required
- Phillips Head Screw Driver (Not Provided)
A Phillips head screwdriver is depicted.
Step 1: Attach Headboard Legs
Follow the illustration: Insert the Allen bolt into the pre-drilled hole and turn to unify the headboard leg (B/C) to the headboard panel (A).
Use hardware packed in Box #1 for this step.
Diagram shows the headboard panel (A) with the left headboard leg (B) and right headboard leg (C) being attached. Allen bolts (1), spring washers (2), washers (3), and an Allen key (4) are used for this connection.
Step 2: Attach Left Siderail to Headboard
Fix the left siderail (E) to the headboard assembly (A/B/C) by sliding the hook installed at the end of the left siderail (E) into the corresponding slot on the headboard assembly (A/B/C). Push down on the left siderail (E) to secure the connection.
Diagram illustrates a left siderail (E) with a hook mechanism. This hook is shown sliding into a slot on the headboard assembly (A/B/C). An arrow indicates pushing down to lock the siderail in place. The partially assembled headboard with one siderail is shown.
Step 3: Attach Left Siderail to Footboard
Fix the other end of the left siderail (E) to the footboard (D).
Diagram shows the left siderail (E) being connected to the footboard (D).
Step 4: Attach Right Siderail
Fix the right siderail (F) to the headboard assembly (A/B/C) and the footboard (D).
Diagram shows the right siderail (F) being attached to both the headboard assembly (A/B/C) and the footboard (D). The basic rectangular frame of the bed is now formed.
Step 5: Secure Siderails
Secure both siderails (E, F) to the headboard assembly (A/B/C) and footboard (D) using round head screws (1), as shown in the illustration.
Diagram shows round head screws (1) being used to fasten the siderails (E, F) to the main headboard and footboard structures.
Step 6: Attach Storage Feet
Remove the plastic cover from the storage feet (J). Bolt the storage feet (J) to the storage units (I), following the illustration.
Diagram shows storage feet (J) being attached to the underside of the storage units (I) using bolts.
Step 7: Attach Storage Units to Left Siderail
Fix the storage unit (I) to the left siderail (E) using Allen bolts (4). Use the Allen key (3) to tighten the bolts.
Diagram shows a storage unit (I) being attached to the left siderail (E) using Allen bolts (4) and tightened with an Allen key (3).
Step 8: Attach Storage Units to Right Siderail and Adjust Levelers
Fix the storage unit (I) to the right siderail (F) using Allen bolts (4).
Turn the leveler underneath the storage feet (J) to adjust the storage unit (I) level, as shown in the illustration.
Diagram shows a storage unit (I) being attached to the right siderail (F) using Allen bolts (4). A close-up view illustrates adjusting the leveler on the storage feet (J) to ensure the unit is level.
Step 9: Install Center Slat and Leg Supports
Arrange the center slat (G) so that its T-nuts are facing the floor. Slide Allen bolts (4) from the top of the center slat (G) into the 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 9th pre-drilled holes.
Fix the long leg supports (H) to the center slat (G) using Allen bolts (4) and the Allen key (3).
Diagram shows the center slat (G) with T-nuts oriented downwards. Allen bolts (4) are inserted from the top into specific holes. Long leg supports (H) are then attached to the center slat (G) using Allen bolts (4) and the Allen key (3).
Step 10: Secure Bed Slats to Center Slat
Spread out all the bed slats (K). Slide the center slat (G) under the bed slats (K).
Slide Allen bolts (4) from the top of the bed slats (K) through the pre-drilled holes on the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th, and 12th bed slats. Tighten Allen bolts (4) with the Allen key (3) to secure the bed slats (K) to the center slat (G).
Diagram illustrates spreading out the bed slats (K). The center slat (G) is positioned beneath them. Allen bolts (4) are shown passing through specific bed slats (K) and into the center slat (G), secured by the Allen key (3).
Step 11: Place and Fix Bed Slats
Place the bed slats (K) onto the bed frame. Spread the bed slats (K) evenly across the frame.
Fix the 1st, 6th, 7th, and 12th bed slats to the bed frame using wood screws (2). Use the pilot holes on the siderails (E, F) as a reference for correct placement.
Diagram shows the bed slats (K) being laid across the bed frame. Specific slats are indicated for attachment to the siderails (E, F) using wood screws (2), with pilot holes on the siderails serving as guides.
Instructions for Adjusting Levelers
Position the bed in your room. Locate the levelers underneath each center leg (H).
Turn counter-clockwise to extend, and clockwise to contract.
Adjust levelers until each leg is applying equal upward pressure on the center slat.
Diagram shows the underside of the bed frame, highlighting the adjustable levelers located on the feet of the center leg supports (H). Instructions for turning the levelers are provided.
Maintenance Instructions
- Remove box spring and mattress before moving your bed.
- Lift your bed when moving it. Dragging can damage the center support.
- Readjust levelers after moving your bed.
