Zero and Tare Functions
These functions allow you to weigh items consecutively without including the weight of a container. Press the ZERO button to use these functions.
- Zero function: When the sum of all loads on the scale is less than 7 oz (200 g), the LCD will show "0 g" each time the button is pressed. The icon "0" will show on the left of the LCD, indicating the zero function is activated. The maximum capacity of the scale will not be reduced by the stated weight if it is 7 oz (200 g) or less.
- Tare function: When the sum of all loads on the scale is over 7 oz (200 g), the LCD will show "0 g" each time the button is pressed. The icon "T" will show on the upper left corner of the LCD, indicating the tare function is activated. The maximum weight capacity is reduced by the tare amount. Under this condition, if you press the ZERO button, you will see the total weight of all loads.
